The world is sort of flat, but not really

The world is flat, or sort of rounded, but it goes on forever in every direction. The sky is above, and the sun goes from east to west, but the sun rises and sets at the same time everywhere in the world. Karenth is not a planet, but a physical plane, curved but stretching forever. Even so it never wraps upon inself or presents a part of itself as above.
Sounds weird, yah it is.
