Idless Manifesto
Freedom is the Only Absolute...
The Idless Manifesto was crafted in the 2060s by an unnamed group of anarchists, who took the title of Identification-Less. Names, titles, any identifiers were left behind, doffed into the fire of their nomadic campsites, and social media platforms which were all replaced by "Idless" and the Manifesto as the only post, reel, video or soundbyte.
Nothing could be owned, especially not credit for ideas, for ownership was a form of identity. Nothing could be bought which was corporate-made for the corporations who made them were following anathema ideals.
As to the historical information of who, exactly, wrote the Idless Manifesto and when, we know only this:
It was written as a living document, which is added to only when the sum total of the Idless agree to an additional policy.
Since it is grotesquely impossible to get a group of globe-spanning anarchists to agree on anything at any one time, and even more impossible to get them to do so in one place, the Manifesto remains exactly as it was first disseminated through the ether of the internet in a mass posting to hundreds of various social media accounts, blogs, article sites and video platforms in 2063.
Definitions
Freedom
The elimination of all bonds, boundaries and definitions. A state of maximum potential energy, without stagnation. Maximal options.
Ownership
Artificially created dissonance through domination. As the goal of existence is maximum freedom, the act of claiming possession or proprietary rights is a prison for both the owner and the owned.
Definition is the outward sign of ownership.
Marriage & Family
Marriage is the contractual ownership of persons, wrapped around the ideals of Babylon. To own a human is anathema, as is claiming one human has precedence of care.
All children are Idless from birth, and thus, freely unattached, unnamed and placed in communal creches.
Babylon
All which is not Idless is Babylon.
Any group which defines others, acts with intentions of ownership or identifies itself by any other creed are lost in the dark. False and willing to fail. Avoid all but the Sympathizers, who are a necessary symptom of an impure world.
The Idless Manifesto
- Freedom is the ultimate goal of an equal and contented society.
- Nation-States are artificial creations of domination. No form of ownership to any Nation, Ethnicity, Entity, Company or Religion is worth the lack of freedoms.
- All who refuse freedom are Babylon.
- Identification is a signal of ownership, and must be expunged.
- Labels are forms of oppression & ownership within the microcosm. They lead to conflict, jealousy and fear. No personal or interpersonal label adds value to Idless life.
- Deny all identification, labels, brands and debts.
- Birth-names are externally attached labels, and must remain a fluid mechanism throughout the person’s life.
- Marriage is a label, no person can own another, and children shall be cared for by the collective.
- Gender too, is a label to be ignored.
- The freedom to travel the globe, live where and when the spirit leads, in whichever method causes no harm, is the key.
- Only through dissolution of identification & label can the key be created to unlock a pure and noble life.
- Freedom demands no overuse of resources in one area. When resources or the flow of Babylon’s lives are disrupted, it is time to move.
- All Idless ought to ply a form of beneficial trade or function for the collective.
- Education is essential to enlighten one’s mind to make informed decisions & add to the collective.
- If an item or foodstuff can be handmade, it must be.
- Bespoke items have within them the essence of their creators, and thus are spiritual gifts to be respected.
- There shall be no leader, who cannot be immediately replaced. Leadership creates inequality, and ought to be committed to by the collective.
- Proper flowing communication is key to ensure Idless trade, resource & safety without reliance on Babylon.
- The divine is to remain formless and individual, believed in as the practitioner sees fit, as long as it causes no harm.
- Let one defend freedoms through force only when force is applied.
- Challenge all doctrine to avoid orthodoxy.
Legacy
2060's
Begat by collectives of anti-establishment nomadic anarchists, tiny home travellers and everyday people tired of taxes and travel visas, corporate contracts and societal control, the Idless Manifesto became the siren song which broke them from society. Grids, temporary meeting points on the global map system for Idless caravans, began dotting up within shared posts and re-posts of the Manifesto. All anyone needed to find a Grid in the early 2060's was the Manifesto posts itself, and a set of coordinates.
Once folk spanning the globe discovered this alternate communal economy, numbers began to grow in a fluctuant, and unlisted manner. It is worth noting only the Corporations and Nations kept record of those who gave up their identifications, passports, old age pensions and underwent the Lessening. A group which in the 2060's was identifiably under 100,000 in size was about to undergo a religious metamorphosis.2070's
The Flag War burst across the planet with an unsettling of the status quo. During the Flag War, the Idless pockets surged with an increase of population into the millions globally. Refugees from bombed out cities joined Idless Grids in droves, and the Manifesto became both anarchist document and religious text.
The holy rejection of the corruption which destroyed culture across planet Earth.
Idless began to foment into militia, defending their right to neutrality with power of arms as much as the conviction of their ideals. Obviously corporations and banks didn't prefer several hundred thousand paying members per quarter defaulting on loans, mortgages and contracts, then disappearing without a trace. Syndicate and Conglom truency departments increased staff, and began rooting out the Grids to search for truents.
The decentralyzed Manifesto posts removed Grid coordinates, and instead became the key to Idless finding each other through Sympathizers and specialized maps. Idless went further underground.
2079 - 2085
During the development of Lieben, members of the Idless came across Dr. Karnak's intern Baiko on AI forums. They encouraged her to upload the Idless Manifesto to Lieben's self-learning matrix, an act which took place in 2085. It was the Idless' hope their Manifesto would change Lieben's programming, and give them a powerful ally to change the world.
