World under revision! This world was originally written purely as a Dugeons and DragonsĀ® setting. It is (slowly) being rewritten to be system agnostic When things don't seem to work togewther, this is likely why.

Catian

Redeemed by Nathalia Books
Catians are equally at home, and able to switch between at will, a humanoid form and one similar to a great cat, such as a tiger or lion. It is similar to were-creatures, but not the same as a catians ability is an inherited aspect of the race and not a curse passed on.

Basic Information

Anatomy

In their humanoid form, catians somewhat resemble humans, but with cat-like slitted eyes and their hair is the colour of their fur. Older catians eventually retain their ears and tail from their feline form, even when shifting to humanoid form.   The feline form varies between catian sub-races, in so far as they become different feline animals.

Growth Rate & Stages

Catians reach adulthood much earlier than humans, often considered adults by the age of 15. They retain their physical prowess for most of their lives rather than falling victims to the frailties of age until they are getting quite old.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Their feline inheritance makes catians able to see in the dark and gives them a great sense of balance.
