History of Crismalia

The Provincial Divide was published as a treaty between Reshka and Cridalia. The document became a staple for the relationships between all countries within the continent of Cridalia.

The shatter occurred in the dead of night on the 66th day of in the year Osrun, 888 PD. Nobody knows how it was initiated, but there are rumors that it occurred somewhere in the east during a large party taking place in the country of boundary. At the scene of the party, a few oddities where found. The remains of a small human man, and the corpse of a massive red fiend. This fiend was apparently the cursed form of a powerful ally to the state of Brinkala. Every lord and leader in the continent of Crismalia was instantly killed, left with a horrifying look of terror on each of their faces. Each provincial lord was incredibly well preserved - as if covered in some plastic substance. Magical lands, provided by The Overseer, were immediately destroyed in bursts of magical flame. The largest of these events was the destroying of Reshka's enchanted forest - which resulted the sudden explosion of thousands of trees, across hundreds of miles. Not many survived this event, as smoke suffocated any panicking residents of Oreshya or the forest. One of the only survivors is known as the wraith of the burnt plain by any who wander in. A giant man-like form that crawls in the mud and the ashes, muttering words about protection. The wraith seems natural enough, but his terrifying appearance is ghastly and memorable.
