The Siblings's Demise

This article is depicting a potential future of this world. Some events in here might not have happened yet and will be changed by the actions of the players involved in this world. Until these campaigns have concluded, this article will exist in a superposition between existance and non-existance.   Some version of this article will survive, but who knows what it will be when all of this is over

This article will be expanded upon in the future

In the beginning, there was nothing.
No time, no space, only darkness; an endless and eternal void of nothingness.
But in this endless void, there was a single mote of light.
A tiny piece of light and hope - the beginning of something great. The beginning of everything that exists today.
For an eternity, this mote of light was alone in the darkness, but eventually it grew tired and bored.
So it gave itself up and gave birth to the elements, and three new lights in the dark.
The elements formed the world as we know it, and the lights grew into the three siblings of the Sky.

The Siblings of the Sky were the first gods, and were born together with the world itself. As they have been here since Lothrea's beginning, many believe that they will be there at its end. The Siblings and the world seem unbreakingly intwined, none being able to survive without the others.   This connection made many people believe that the end of the Siblings will also be the end of the world. Many myths about the doom of Lothrea exist across different faiths. The most prominent is called the Sibling's Demise, and can be found with slight variations across many cultures and religions.
The moon will descend, shattering night’s veil,
Magic will falter, and all healing shall fail,
Tria’s lullaby will echo, soothing hearts frail,
As the fragments of the moon, tell their sorrowful tale.
The stars will fade, when the moon starts to weep,
The sun will become shade, and the shadows will turn deep,
The last days of the world, will be silent and bleak,
As the last light will vanish, and the world falls asleep.

Many of these myths and stories, include a second part, a part often filled with hope and a new beginning. Even in the darkest days, people want to believe that there is light and hope at the end. They want to believe that every end is the beginning of something new. This belief brought forward the second part of the story, a tale of a new beginning. And maybe - just maybe - this belief will be enough to bring forward this new beginning at the end of time.
The siblings shall unite, in one final embrace,
Embracing the shadows, the world's last grace
From the darkness shall rise, a new dawn's gleam
through Yana's light, Tria's magic, and Izral's dream.
The old world reborn, into a single mote of light
A small light containing, a new world's might
In this eternal void, of darkness and night
It's a new beginning - shining so bright

I love that the myth carries across different cultures, even with some minor differences. And I really love that there is some hope in many of the telling. That's nice for an 'end of the world' myth.

Thank you! Really wanted to have a end of the world myth that isn't just bleak and depressing, so added a little bit of hope to it as well.
