Fated
Greater than the Fruit which feed the machine, your fate will lead you to Ascension.
The Few, The Powerful
To be fated is to know that your story is just beginning, to know that yours is a path that will take you to greatness. Your will to pursue that greatness & the capability of your shape to realize it will determine how you fare in the ages to come. Tied closer to Fate than the laymen of the world, your true capabilities are yet to be revealed, even to yourself; but with a further Premonition you may yet find the secrets in your own fate. Fated individuals often come from a storied family or background, or have lofty personal goal to pursue, but have not yet made their mark on the world.Capabilities
The fated are tied closer to fate than the usual individual, and thus almost certainly have a capability for Werking & Rituals. In addition to their magical capacity, Fated individuals often cling to life with a force of will that is beyond what could be expected of even the most resilient Fruit, surviving through what would otherwise be fatal for the vast majority of individuals.- All of a Fated character's stats are hardlocked at +1 until their Ascension.
Knowledge & Connections
Fated do not often have an immense wealth of personal knowledge or connections and thus require the Favour/Favor of better connected & more knowledgeable individuals to further their own interests in the world. Fated will often serve as trusted employees, mercenaries, messengers or spies for characters who have a more established network within the world. The fated are often more willing to build connections & seek out knowledge than the average individual. This hunger for influence & knowledge is a direct result of their stronger bond with Fate.- A Fated character may never unlock secrets until their first Premonition.
- A Fated character may never use magic, garner materials or aquire magitek or technology of Rarefied or higher rarity.
- A Fated character may never harness energies more complex than Simple
Wealth & Properties
The wealth & properties of a fated individual are often inherited from others, or earned through hard work, sacrifice & the sweat of their own brow - and are thus humble in their status. The fated do not have access to luxurious goods or have the means to accrue a portfolio of properties & land or extend the scope of their influence as of yet. The fated may be provided the right to settle in a County by the Count / Countess who oversees its stewardship.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
