Like her "sister", Luka is an artificial being, grown in a laboratory and spliced together from all over the animal kingdom, as well as a number of genes created only in the lab. Luka was designed for one thing, and one thing only - survive at any cost, to pass on the secret of her genetics to the remnants of civilisation and restore humans with unaltered genes. However, something went wrong - after she was born from her metal womb deep in the bowels of the facility, she was supposed to be educated and released into the world. But the doors would not open, and so she and the others born alongside her were trapped. When she was finally released from the facility, her incarceration had twisted her morals, her worldview and her value of human life.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

With her all-pervading hunger and obsession with mutating her body at great calorific expense, Luka might look malnourished but is actually extremely strong and very healthy.

Body Features

Luka is an albino, or at the very least leucistic. As such her skin is a ghostly white, and her hair a pale, straw-like blonde. Her appearance is that of a ragged shade, all sharp points and angles, with blood on her hands and hunger in her eyes. The exoskeletal plates on her arms and legs are the yellowed shade of dirty toenails, and are rough to the touch.

Facial Features

Large, wide eyes slightly sunken into her head, a small nose and a huge, lipless mouth filled with the sharp teeth of a predator.

Physical quirks

Luka is right-handed, and has a tendency to leer. She also has a peculiarity with eye-contact, which she will maintain well beyond the point of extreme discomfort.

Special abilities

Luka has almost supernatural regenerative abilities, and has control over her own metabolism. With her voracious appetite she can consume huge volumes of food to fuel drastic changes to her own body. She is incredibly strong and fast, and capable of shrugging off debilitating injuries.

Personal history

Luka was "born" in the facility, a huge underground laboratory hidden in the western outskirts of the city. Lucy was born here too and left at a young age, quickly losing any memory of the place. Luka however, who could only have been born a few short months after her "sister", found the huge blast doors locked tight. She spent her years locked away in the facility, accompanied by a handful of other vessels from various programs, awoken at around the same time. When Lucy finally freed her years later, she was the only one alive.

Luka has not made any achievements she would consider memorable prior to leaving the facility, but she considers the murder and subsequent cannibalism of her fellow vessels a philosophical awakening in which she discovered the true nature of the world and her place in it.

Later in her life, her only regret would be failing to kill Lucy time and again.

Mental Trauma

It is unknown if Luka's grisly philosophy is the product of some trauma or if it was merely the influence of her confinement, but to her consumption, particularly of living things, has become a ravening obsession. She is cursed with a hunger she cannot ever quite satisfy, a gnawing in her mind that only grew stronger when shown the bounty if the outside world.

Intellectual Characteristics

Luka is extremely cunning and devious, able to learn and improvise with lightning speed. However, her intelligence only goes as far as her interests, and she will only put her mind to something if it will further her goal.

Morality & Philosophy

Luka believes herself above all other living things, partly a warped conclusion from the education the facility gave her about her origins, and partly due to her highly capitalistic mindset. All things belong to anyone willing to claim them, and she will lay claim to all she sees. Other humans are obstacles to her as well as sustenance, and she revels in the opportunity to devour people. Her view of ownership does not go far beyond the basic concept of consumption, and is only concerned with things she can eat, and thus use their energy to remould herself into something stronger.

Taboos

Few things are beyond the mind of one possessed by the most desperate hunger of all. While there are plenty of things she has no interest in, like torture or rape, she will not hesitate to contemplate the moral ramifications of her actions.

Motivation

Luka's primary, and perhaps only motivation in life is, at its core, greed. Her endless hunger, her violent tendencies, her pursuit of strength and power is, ultimately fuelled by greed. In her youth she tasted for the first time the surge born from holding power over others. Since then, she has lived her life to make herself more and more powerful, more "successful" and perfect as a life form.

Given her singular determination and monstrous nature, it would possibly be accrediting her with more humanity than she deserves to talk of her likes and dislikes. If one could define these things of her, she would like things that further her goals, and dislike those that hinder them. Above all else she desires power and 'wealth', and will stop at nothing to achieve them. Her obsession with consumption, particularly with consuming people, could also be considered a "like", but it is more of a compulsion or depraved addiction.

Personality Quirks

Luka has several physical ticks developed from her belief that the world is just as cruel and monstrous as she knows herself to be. She also has an aversion to open spaces, and prefers to slink in the shadows rather than walk in the sun.

Hygiene

Luka's hygiene is extremely poor. She does not often wash, if at all, and butchers animals with her bare hands and teeth. Her clothes are ragged tatters and her hair is matted and out of control. She has no home, but decorates her "territory" with grisly trophies intimidate the "weak".
