Tobias Zync
- First introduced in Chapter 2 when the party entered the Leaky Tap Tavern.
- Is extremely friendly towards the party, offering them access to a room and plenty of drink as long as they provide stories. He has had particular interest in the parties' encounter with the surrounding Forest.
- Has only been in Hygrim for the past three months. When he first arrived, he made quick friends with Jonas shortly before Jonas was murdered. This, combined with being an outsider, has caused him to be a top suspect in Hygrim. He greatly resents being treated this way, being harassed by the guards on a daily basis.
- Although in good standing with Tina and Grendira, Jade has a total distrust of Tobias.
- Tobias has been spotted working at that tavern well past midnight, where Grendira spotted him writing / reading various paperwork.
An extremely friendly but somewhat noisy barkeep of the Leaky Tavern. A man traveling from a far away land, he has been given temporary ownership of the tavern in the last months while the real owner is away. He allows people free drinks in exchange for interesting stories, which he documents in a journal. He is frequently frustrated with the town guard, who treat him as a primary suspect in the murder of Jonas, despite them being close friends before the incident.
