Vee Aspenmell
Party Interactions
- First introduced in Chapter 4, when Grendira and Jade visited the local church in Hygrim.
- Vee was seen with a group of three older friends from Jade's past. Despite wearing a tracking bracelet, Vee was still extremely confident that he could find a way to free everyone from Hygrim's rule.
- Jade initially stops Vee from inacting out his plan to threaten Grista into giving up how to remove the bracelets. She is able to convince him to wait until the next morning before doing anything brash.
- Unfortunately, due to the incident with the Mushroom Circles, Jade is unable to arrive back in Hygrim in time to stop Vee. He was seen unconcious, having failed in his rebellion.
- The party eventually freed Vee and his friends from jail, so that the three of them could venture back to the Wood Elf territory.
- When arriving at the Twilight Grove, the party is able to find Lirel and Elara - but not Vee. They discover that Vee went into the nearby tunnels alone - an extremely dangerous decision considering that he was wounded on the trip. Lirel informs the party that Vee has a special connection with one of the sages in the tunnel and that might have driven him to move ahead.
Vee's History with Jade
According to Jade, Vee and her have a long history of friendship. While in Hygrim, Vee's impatient, headstrong approach to solving things came in conflict with the parties plan. However, it was Jade who was able to calm him down (for the time being).Vee's Death
- When exploring the tunnels, the party does not find Vee.
- When the group reaches the sages, they mention that Vee had not made it to their chamber. They then utilize a nearby creature to help 'scout' for Vee. When the creature returns, it communicates that it found Vee deceased in the second, massive chamber.
A young wood elf who is a longtime friend of Jade. Headstrong and rebellious, Vee takes it upon himself to do what is right, even if those actions get everyone else in more trouble. He frequently talks about wanting to lead an uprising in Hygrim, believing his moral code is strong enough to overcome any situation.
