The Papaya Family establishes a trading outpost and homestead deep in the Mahia Forest. It is named "Hygrim Trade" after the wolf that helped protect the family during their move.
The town of Hygrim continues to grow, opening trade to nearby Elves and Gnomes. This is long considered the golden era of Hygrim.
The town of Hygrim suffers nearly a full year of invasions from outside forces. These range from Orc attacks, to Fey, to even wild beasts. 42 individuals, including several members of the Papaya family, are lost. The conflict only ends when the wolf Hygrim sacrificed its life. Since this act, no attacks on Hygrim have occurred.
Francis Papaya marries Eleanor, an influencial leader of the kingdoms' head mercant guild. Their marriage brings the town of Hygrim into a larger spotlight.
The town of Hygrim begans expanding its influence far beyond the forest. It shortly achieves Dukedom and Francis Papaya is declared 'Duke'.
The Duke's son, Jonas, is born.
The Duke's wife, Eleanor, dies from disease.
The Duke hires the Triple Fang Mercenary group with the sole objective to protect him and his son, Jonas. Jonas at the time was only 10 years old.
Jonas is found dead outside of Hygrim at the age of 21.
The Duke declares that the lands that make up the Mahia Forest are now owned by Hygrim. All races that live within the forest are expected to report to Hygrim to be converted into citizens of the town.
