Dugath

There is pride to be had, in working hard for your due. Our efforts, the blood, sweat, and tears we shed in these mines brings our home fortune. Decades from now, it'll be our names memorialized in stone.   What greater legacy is there, than one earned through hard work and determination. We made a difference.

Dugath is a settlement in Uris Braena well known as a mining powerhouse, producing many rare and valuable materials from their mountain mines. Dugath mines supply the city of Fiffan with a majority of its mined resources.

Gifts of the Earth

The mines beneath Dugath are rich in a number of rare minerals, hard to find in other regions of the continent. Among these valuable resources is cryotath, a rare and prized metal which is used in many ornamental smithing applications.   Cryotath is Dugath's most famous export, and its mines are jealously guarded by the locals who reside in the town and mines themselves.

Underground City

Dugath, above ground, is nothing especially notable. It is a small town at most, with simply an inn, a tavern, some residences for those passing by to see. The bulk of the city is located underground, beyond the gates many mistake for the entrance to a simple mine.   By tradition, those who work in the mines are memorialized after their passing by having their names etched into the stone walls of Dugath's underground entrance.

Immense value can be pulled from the dirt and muck, if you only work for it.
