The war that ripped apart the Ferniazib Empire

For years, the people of Minte had been unhappy. The Almia had always been treated as if they were better than anyone else, and it was time for this to end. The leaders of Giowenb, Lounleb, Zhenb, and Hiriotb decided to rebel against their Almia rulers. Early in the morning on the 32nd day of the 1255th Last Growth, a force of around 5,000 soldiers attacked the strip of land which marked the border between Minte and Dzezb. Queen Almialib had heard rumors of an attack, so she already had an army of 15,000 on standby. The Almia retaliation was swift and brutal. Almost all of the 5,000 Minte soldiers were killed. This sparked outrage throughout all of Minte and Dzezb. Support for the rebellion rose and within just a few months, an army of over 50,000 soldiers had been assembled by the north to conquer Almialib. However, Almialib immediately declared martial law and amassed a greater army of 75,000. Soon, winter embraced the south, which made it nearly impossible for Minte to invade Almialib. After that, there was a practical stalemate for around two years until the 1257th First Frost where Minte finally decided to push through the mountains in the middle of a snowstorm, taking Almialib off guard and leading to their eventual defeat. After the war ended, The Ferniazib Empire was split into Almialib, Dzezb, Giowenb, Hiriotb, Lounleb, and Zhenb
