Foils

Foils are the lifeblood and common currency of Midbaar. Their ability to shield against forms of mana-sickness through the absorption of mana-waste makes them vital to living and freedom of magic. One can get their hands on a foil by removing the core from a Slime.
The basic value of a foil is defined by the temperature and color of mana that is contained within each of these orbicular coins. Color rarity matters greatly when valuing a Foil.

Important Note: Temperatures that are not hot or cold become difficult to gauge. So the value often varies between 2-5 pieces in a warm foil, and 6-9 pieces in a cool foil.
