Mana crystals are a type of magical gemstone, which acts as a mana-pool.
With a Capacity, a recharge rate, and even colors. These rocks are treasured by mages as external sources of mana.


So let's take a moment to talk about the defining traits of these wonderous curiosities. The overall effective value of a Mana-Crystal is dependant on a few factors. Most notably being Size, Purity, and Quality.

Size

Size Matters

The size of a mana-crystal determines how much mana it can hold.

There is a total of five set "standard" sizes for mana crystals.

Purity

Purity make a difference

The Purity, or lack-thereof in a mana crystal will dictate the variable capacity factor of your mana-crystal.

Or in short, the more impure your crystal is, the less value you get from it. Heres a table to explain it.

Quality

Quality Assurance!

The Quality of your mana crystal will tell you how quickly it recharges mana. This is the the most difficult to measure, but heres a list of the quality types and their effects.
