Races Information Essentials - README
What's available?
Whoa- slow down for a moment, let's get settled with some basic fundamentals to Midbaar races first. You're likely going to get confused if you rush ahead without reading this imporant information.Midbaar groups races into five categories, for convenience purposes of sorting out the lore. Don't ask why.
These categories are referred to as Racial-Origins. Which is basically big talk for "What group do they belong to."
The five categories available are as follows:
Humans
Humans?? What do they have?
Humans are pretty standard, with grouping to races that would be similar enough to them. Such as Dwarves, Orcs, Baresh, and Halflings, etc.
It's clear that the human origin contains more than just normal humans.
Fae
Fairies and tricksters?
Not particularly only Fairies and tricksters. The fae of Midbaar are wide and varied.
Spirits, Beings with Animalistic features, plantlike beings, and everything in between.
Not sure if it's Alien or Fae? It's most likely Fae.
There are some who claim that Yokai would fall under their own category here. This would be incorrect. They are fae here. Deal with it.
Dragons
The Big scary ones, right?
Anything that is reptilian in physique and nature. So Dragons, Kobolds, Lizardfolk, Draconians, Dragonborn, etc. You name it.
The Draconic lineage is diverse here, and if you opt to state that it shouldn't be that way. I'll shoot you.
Elves
Pointy wiggling ears
The Elves are quite simple. They have pointy ears that wiggle!
Okay, to be fair. It's not as simple as that. The elves also have the Merfolk, which would be any 'faelike' creature of an aquatic variety.
As for anything else to mention about the elves... Their ears do tend to wiggle a lot.
Aliens
Nope, not like the greyling ones.
You probably thought I was talking about the weird aliens. This is incorrect.
The Aliens I refer to are the creatures and races that either do not fit into any of the other four categories.
Demons, Angels, Sun-Born, and Witches. Things that really do not have... anything to connect them to other racial origins. There's more, but you'll just have to find them yourself.

Great. Now that we know about the races, you now have the means of which to choose which race you'd like to play. Disclaimer: The list is not limited to the races provided. But if you are to bring a race from outside the known list, do your best to categorize it accordingly to the Racial-Origins.
