Sun-born

Thought to just be elementals of sorts with hot gasses within, Sun-born used to be commonly mistaken for monsters. Their first appearance was recorded just after the birth of the five suns, widely thought to be some kind of sub-humanoid impersonator at first. This led to their 'exctinction' in the first century of the Radiant Era. They're also referred to as Cowboys... for some reason unbeknownst to me.

Appearance

All Sun-born are formed from mana. They come in the five colors corresponding to those of the mana. Their bodies are made of a similar cellular structure to that of a Slime. Giving off a somewhat glossy sheen, as well as feeling materialistically gelatinous.
They glow a dim illumination of their mana respective mana color, and it is the brightness which determines their general mood or feeling. Brighter warm light often signifies positive feelings, and colder dimmer light for negative feelings.

Physique

Though they are made similarly to slimes. Sun-born do not have a core, rather they have translucent bones within their bodies to hold their structure together. These bones are often formed as metals such as iron, or tungesten. These metals still retain their translucent nature when still part of the Sun-born. It is safe to say, a Sun-born weighs much more than the average person might.

Due to being a plasmodermic bubble of sorts filled with mana. Mana burn has no effect on them and they need no Food, Drink, Rest, or Air.
Do take care with a Sun-born however, upon death, they tend to go supernova and explode into a thick cloud of mana waste. Often thick enough to spawn a witch.

Habitats

Sun-born are fit to exist in any environment, they are about as adaptible as slimes are. Which is to say: Very adaptable.

Diet

Due to beings made up of mana, Sun-born require no food or drink. In fact, they cannot process food or drink due to having no digestive system.
