Theodemir

Theodemir, son of Theodemarn is Captain of the Guard for Mountain Hall and one of the chief counsellors to Hartfast, son of Hartmunt . He is known for his skill with an axe, and is seldom seen without his faithful hound, said to be a gift from the Beornings, from whom he is distantly related.

Theodemir is noble, slow to anger, and wise. He makes a good balance to the pridefulness of his lord. It is in no small part due to his diplomatic skill that Mountain Hall has enjoyed peaceful and profitable relations with both the Beornings and the Dwarves of Moria.

Personal history

Theodemir was born in Woodland Hall in 2911 and stayed there until he was nearly thirty years old. He served on the Guard and extensively traveled the Vales. He was asked to coordinate the trade escorts between Woodland Hall and Mountain Hall and consequently relocated to Mountain Hall in 2943. His service there earned him the title of Captain of the Guard, which he has held ever since.
