Species

1. Human

   The surviving humans of Latter Earth. The ones that renamed it Neomerrin when the last Outsider empire lost its control.

2. Revenant

   Appearing much as they did in life, revenants returned from the world beyond the veil to complete some unfinished task—often taking revenge or solving a mystery.

3. Scáthe

   An ash skinned white hair group of swamp dwellers that had lived below the surface for generations hiding from the Outsiders. Found their way to the surface after the earthquake that shattered the coast.

4. Zuragi

   Lizard-sapiens that tunneled to the surface of the Withered Basin desert, where they have spread throughout the lands. There are three varieties: Geckos, friendly and hospitable, nothing they like more than a good meal with friends. Chameleons, timid or cowardly, but ability to blend into any natural environment. Iguanas large strong silent brutes, but as soon as they start drinking they are the happy friend life of the party.

5. Byot

   Biomechanical species that exist, had been unknown throughout Neomerin before the breaking of the eastern mountain range; which revealed the west end of the circle sea and the ultraviolent grasslands beyond. The Byots left the area due to constantly being attacked by those who couldn't tell the difference between the sentient biomechanics beings and the monstrous beasts roaming the ultraviolet grasslands beyond the eastern mountains.
