Given that he depends more on his ice magic skills than on physical power, he has a slender body with well-defined muscles but is not excessively muscular. His visage is striking and angular, with prominent cheekbones, a square jawline, and piercing blue eyes that appear to reflect the icy chill of the ice he governs. He has distinctive cyan hair that is loosely curled and reaches his shoulders. Ferrum Sullivan stands apart from other people thanks to a few peculiar physical characteristics. He stands out from other people due to a number of things, one of which being his cyan hair, which is stunning and distinctive in hue. Many people consider it to be an indication of his special skills since it is a physical expression of his connection to ice magic. Another eye-catching characteristic of his are his blue eyes, which frequently give him a fierce and commanding appearance. Ferrum's weak physique is another peculiar aspect of his appearance, giving the impression that he is defenseless to people around him. His thin build, however, conceals his actual strength and might, since he is able to unleash a tremendous quantity of ice magic. In addition, he has perfected a certain movement style that is both graceful and controlled, giving him a particular charm.

Special abilities

Ferrum is a gifted mage, with a particular talent for the manipulation of ice. His powers were bestowed upon him by the gods, chosen for his innate ability to harness the freezing temperatures and turn them into a formidable weapon. His control over ice is unparalleled, able to create massive ice storms, freeze entire bodies of water, and even encase his enemies in solid blocks of ice. His ice magic is not just limited to offensive capabilities, but he can also use it for defensive and utilitarian purposes. He can erect walls of ice to protect himself and others, create ice bridges to traverse treacherous terrain, and even freeze the air to lower the temperature of his surroundings.   Ferrum's powers have been honed over the years through rigorous training and practice. He has a deep understanding of the properties of ice and how to manipulate them to his advantage. He is always seeking to improve his abilities and push the limits of what is possible with ice magic. With his ice powers, Ferrum is a formidable force to be reckoned with, feared by his enemies and respected by his allies. His abilities have made him a valuable asset in battles and conflicts, as well as in peaceful endeavors. But with great power comes great responsibility, and Ferrum is determined to use his abilities for good and protect those he cares about.   He specializes in using his powers to summon and control powerful ice constructs, the most impressive of which is his ability to summon a massive dragon made entirely out of ice. The dragon is a formidable force in battle, capable of freezing enemies in their tracks and unleashing devastating blasts of icy energy. However, summoning the dragon requires a great deal of energy and focus, and Ferrum must be in a calm and centered state to do so. Despite this, he has mastery over his powers and can even control the dragon with precision and finesse. This dragon is his signature move and is able to strike fear into his enemies hearts.

Chapter One — The Birth of A Dragon

Ferrum was born into a world of luxury and wealth. His mother, a human of noble descent, had married a dragon of great power and prestige. Though the pregnancy was unplanned and unexpected, his mother had chosen to keep him and raise him as her own.   As a child, Ferrum was raised in a grand mansion with all the luxuries that money could buy. He was surrounded by butlers and maids who attended to his every need, and he grew up in an atmosphere of opulence and refinement. Despite the grandeur of his surroundings, Ferrum's childhood was not without its challenges. His dragon father, while powerful and respected in his own right, was often absent and distant. He would visit Ferrum and his mother occasionally, but the visits were always brief and formal. Ferrum's mother, not knowing anything about dragons, struggled to understand how to raise a dragon-human hybrid.   As he grew older, Ferrum began to take notice of the stark differences between himself and the other children of the nobility. His cyan deer horns, a characteristic of his dragon heritage, set him apart and made him the subject of stares and whispers. He also began to develop an aptitude for ice magic, which he kept hidden from the world, unsure of how it would be received. Despite the challenges he faced, Ferrum remained a polite and well-mannered child. He was intelligent and inquisitive, always eager to learn and expand his knowledge. He was also kind and considerate, always taking care to treat others with respect and courtesy.   As he grew older and began to come into his own, Ferrum realized that his unique heritage and abilities were something to be proud of, not ashamed of. He began to embrace his dragon heritage, and his ice magic powers, and would go on to use them to protect and defend those he cared about.

Chapter Two — Friend

Ferrum was born into a world of opulence and privilege, with a grand mansion that towered over the city and a mother who showered him with love and affection. But despite his lavish surroundings, Ferrum couldn't shake the feeling that he didn't belong. His horns, a physical manifestation of his dragon heritage, set him apart from the other noble children he was raised with. They were scared of him, and avoided him at all costs. Ferrum would watch from the sidelines as the other children laughed and played, feeling a deep ache in his chest as he was left out. He was an outsider in his own home, always on the periphery of the action. But despite the rejection he faced, Ferrum never let it break him. He was determined to be strong, to not let his differences define him.   It wasn't until he met a boy from another noble family that Ferrum finally found a friend. The boy, whose name was Yuji, was different from the others. He didn't seem to care about Ferrum's horns, and instead saw the kind and intelligent boy beneath. Yuji was the first person who truly understood Ferrum, and their friendship was a beacon of light in an otherwise lonely childhood. As days past, Ferrum and Yuji's bond only grew stronger. They were each other's confidants, and their friendship was like a fortress that protected them from the cruelty of the world. But despite their closeness, Ferrum could never shake the feeling that he was still an outsider. He was constantly reminded of his differences, whether it was the way people looked at him or the way he was treated. But Ferrum never let it defeat him, he knew that his horns were a part of him and he should embrace it. He knew that one day he would find his place in the world, and the people who truly loved and accepted him for who he is.   A couple of years later, Ferrum and Yuji were walking through the kingdom's forest, the warm sun shining down on them through the trees. They were deep in conversation, laughing and joking as they walked. But their peaceful stroll was interrupted by a group of noble kids, who crept up behind them, giggling and whispering. Suddenly, the kids popped up in front of Ferrum and Yuji, sneers on their faces as they taunted them.
"What are you doing with that monster freak, Yuji?"
one of the kids jeered, pointing at Ferrum's cyan deer horns.   Ferrum's heart sank as he felt the familiar sting of rejection and isolation. He had grown used to being excluded by the other noble kids, but it still hurt. He tried to ignore the taunts and keep walking, but the kids blocked their path, jeering and laughing. Yuji, however, stood up for Ferrum, pushing the kids aside and telling them to leave them alone. But the kids didn't back down, instead they threw rocks at both Ferrum and Yuji. Ferrum watched in horror as Yuji cowered, his arms covering his head as the rocks pelted him.   Without hesitation, Ferrum stepped in front of Yuji, using his own body as a shield to protect his friend. He closed his eyes and braced himself for the impact of the rocks. Each hit felt like a thousand needles piercing his skin, but Ferrum didn't move, didn't even flinch, not even once. He stood there, taking the blows, as the kids laughed and jeered, Ferrum was covered in bruises and cuts, but he felt a sense of triumph as he helped his friend to his feet. He knew that he would always be an outsider, but as long as he had friends like Yuji, he would never be alone... but he didn't know if he can keep up with this, he didn't want to put Yuji and other people he cares about in danger just because of some stupid reason like his race.   Ferrum stood there, surrounded by the mist that seemed to be emanating from his own body. His eyes were glowing a bright blue, and his anger was palpable. He was fed up with the constant taunts and jeers from the other noble children. They had always been scared of him, and it was something he had grown accustomed to. But today, something inside him snapped.   As the kids continued to throw rocks, Ferrum's anger grew, and with it, so did the pieces of crystal ice that were forming around him and Yuji. They looked like medium-sized rocks, glinting in the sunlight filtering through the trees. Ferrum didn't know what he was doing, he couldn't control himself, it was like his anger was controlling him. Without warning, Ferrum hurled the ice rocks towards the jeering kids, each one hitting its mark with deadly precision. The kids were caught off guard and were unable to defend themselves. They crumpled to the ground, unconscious and bleeding. Ferrum stood there, staring at the scene in front of him, unable to process what had just happened.   Yuji was in shock, staring at the scene in front of him. He was grateful for Ferrum, but he couldn't shake off the fear that was creeping up on him. Ferrum's eyes slowly dimmed, and the mist dissipated as he realized what he had done. He had scared Yuji and probably hurt those kids badly. He couldn't help but feel guilty and regretful as they both stood there in silence. The crystal ice rocks, now melting, were forming into a puddle of water, reflecting the bright blue sky, it was a stark contrast to the red blood on the ground, a metaphor for the duality of Ferrum's powers, both beautiful and deadly.   Ferrum sat there, surrounded by the shattered remnants of what used to be crystal ice, now nothing more than jagged shards and puddles of water littering the ground. He couldn't believe what he had just done, the anger that had taken hold of him, the power that he had never wanted to wield. He had always known that he was different, but he never thought that it would lead to this. Tears streaming slowly down his face, dripping down on the ground, Ferrum looked at his hands, still tingling with the remnants of his power. They were the hands of a monster, a murderer, capable of causing so much destruction and hurt. He couldn't bear the thought of what he had just done, the innocent lives he had just ruined.   Yuji, his only friend, looked at him with a mix of fear and concern as he slowly teared up as well out of confusion and shock. He had seen Ferrum's power before, but never like this. He had never seen him hurt someone before. Yuji knew that Ferrum didn't mean to hurt anyone, but the sight of his friend covered in blood, surrounded by the wounded bodies of their peers, was too much for him to bear.
"Ferrum,"
Yuji said, hesitantly.
"Don't worry- It's fine...- It's all okay—It's not your fault."
Ferrum looked at him, tears still streaming down his face.
"What have I done, Yuji? I didn't want it to become this way. I never wanted to hurt anyone!"
Yuji placed a comforting hand on Ferrum's shoulder, trying to offer some solace. "
I know, Ferrum. I know. But it's not your fault. You didn't ask for this power, for these differences. But I swear to you, I will get stronger. I will protect you so that you don't have to use your powers ever again."
Ferrum looked at him, a glimmer of hope in his eyes as slow droplets of tears streamed down his supple cheeks. He knew that Yuji would never abandon him, that he would always be there to protect him. But even as he looked at his friend, Ferrum couldn't shake the feeling that he was a monster, that he could never truly be accepted by anyone. He couldn't shake the feeling that he would always be alone, surrounded by the shards of his own power, forever burdened by the weight of his differences.

Chapter Three — Chosen One

As the weeks passed, Ferrum couldn't help but notice the distance growing between him and Yuji. They used to spend every waking moment together, exploring the kingdom's forest and dreaming of the adventures they would one day embark on. But now, Yuji seemed distant, distant and cold, much like the ice that Ferrum had begun to feel creeping around his heart. Ferrum couldn't understand why Yuji was pulling away from him. He thought back to that day in the forest, when he had lost control of his powers and injured those kids. He had thought Yuji would be scared of him, but instead, his friend had reassured him that it wasn't his fault. But now, it seemed like Yuji couldn't even stand to be around him.   As Ferrum struggled with his confusion and loneliness, his father returned to the mansion. The man was a powerful noble, and Ferrum couldn't help but feel a twinge of resentment towards him for never being around during his childhood. But his father had news that would change Ferrum's life forever. He informed Ferrum that he had been chosen by Kuraokami, the ice god, and the other lesser gods relating to water and ice. Ferrum was both terrified and thrilled by this revelation. All his life, he had felt like an outcast because of his horns and his powers. But now, it seemed like he had a purpose, a place in the world where he belonged.   But as Ferrum's father left once again, promising to return and train him in the ways of the ice gods, Ferrum couldn't shake the feeling of loss. He had always dreamed of adventure and excitement, but now it seemed that he would have to leave behind the only person who had ever truly accepted him. Ferrum sat alone in his grand, empty mansion, feeling like a prisoner in a palace of ice. He realized that his powers had not only injured those kids, but it also cost him his best friend. He couldn't help but wonder, what would have happened if he never had that power? But deep down, he knew he wouldn't change a thing, his power was a part of him, a gift from the ice gods, and he knew he will use it responsibly from now on.   The days turned into weeks, and Ferrum spent his time training and learning about his powers, but the feeling of loss never truly left him. He couldn't help but think about Yuji and what could have been, if only he had a different fate, if only he was just a normal boy. But as he closed his eyes and let the chill of the ice envelop him, he knew that he was exactly where he was meant to be, even if it meant being alone.

Chapter Four — Confrontation

A few months passed already. Ferrum was turning 18 soon. Frrum sat in his chamber, surrounded by books and scrolls filled with ancient magic. He had spent countless hours studying, determined to master his powers and control the icy energy that flowed through his veins. But even with all his knowledge, he couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness that consumed him. The once lively and carefree boy had been replaced by a moody and distant young man. His sharp tongue now spouted quick remarks and biting sarcasm, pushing away anyone who dared to approach him. The only thing that seemed to bring him any joy was the feeling of ice coursing through his body, the thrill of wielding its power.   As he lounged in his chamber, memories of Yuji flooded his mind. The boy who had once been his closest friend, the one who had always been there to defend him against the cruel taunts of the other children. But now, Yuji was nothing more than a distant memory, a ghost of a person who had once meant everything to him. Ferrum couldn't help but wonder if it was his powers that had driven Yuji away, if the sight of him using magic had been too much for the other boy to bear. He pushed the thoughts away, focusing on the texts in front of him. But even as he delved deeper into the world of magic, the feeling of loneliness and isolation lingered, a constant reminder of what he had lost.   The chamber was dimly lit, the only source of light coming from a small candle on the table, its flame flickered as if it was trying to convey a message. Ferrum felt like he was trapped in a never-ending cycle, where every time he tried to move forward, he was pulled back by the weight of his own regrets and mistakes. He was a prisoner of his own mind and heart. He picked up a piece of parchment and began to write, his quill scratching against the paper as he poured out his thoughts and feelings. He wrote about the emptiness he felt, about the longing for Yuji's friendship, about the fear of hurting others with his powers. As he wrote, he felt the weight on his chest begin to lift, the words on the page a cathartic release.   But even as he wrote, he knew that the emptiness would always be there, a constant reminder of what he had lost and what he could never have again. The candle flickered, casting shadows on the wall, as if to remind him that even in the darkest of times, there was still a glimmer of hope.   Ferrum was lounging in his chamber, surrounded by books of magic and tomes of ancient spells. He had been locked in there for days, lost in the arcane knowledge that he had been studying. The musty smell of old paper and ink filled his nose as he flipped through the pages. Suddenly, the door to his chamber creaked open, breaking him out of his trance. His personal butler, an old man with a wrinkled face and a kind smile, walked in.
"Master Ferrum, your mother requests your presence in the garden gazebo. They are dining with another family."
Ferrum let out a sigh and closed the book in front of him. He got up from his chair and stretched his limbs, feeling the stiffness of sitting for too long. He followed the butler out of his chamber and down the hallway, his footsteps echoing on the marble floor. The butler led him through the grand halls of his family's estate, decorated with intricate tapestries and works of art. They walked out into the garden, the sun shining bright in the sky, casting a warm glow on everything. The garden was a sight to behold, with rows of colorful flowers and a pond filled with koi fish. The butler led him to the gazebo, where his mother and the guests were already seated. Ferrum couldn't remember who the guests were, but it didn't matter. He took his seat at the table, ready to enjoy the meal ahead.   Ferrum sat at the table, surrounded by the lush greenery of the garden gazebo. The sun was high in the sky, casting a warm glow on the scene as a gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the nearby trees. His personal butler stood attentively at his side, ready to serve him as he picked at his food. The clink of silverware against china and the murmur of polite conversation filled the air. But Ferrum couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in his stomach. He couldn't help but think back to the last time he had seen Yuji, the way their friendship had crumbled like a sandcastle in the tide. He had tried to forget about it, to move on, but the memory still lingered like a ghost.   As he took a bite of his food, he heard a familiar voice from behind the gazebo. "Sorry, I'm late!" Ferrum's face remained blank, but inside he felt his heart race. He knew who it was before he even turned around. When he did, he saw Yuji standing there, looking so different from the last time they had met. He was taller, more muscular, and his hair had grown out a bit. But even with the changes, Ferrum couldn't shake off the feeling of familiarity. He couldn't help but feel a pang of regret as he looked at his once-friend.   Ferrum didn't bother to acknowledge Yuji's presence, he just kept silent and continued to eat his food slowly, as if nothing had ever happened. Yuji sat down next to him, pretending that nothing had happened as well. They ate in silence, the tension between them thick like a fog. It was as if they were two strangers, sitting together at the same table, but worlds apart. It was like a dance of avoidance, both Ferrum and Yuji were doing their best not to look at each other and not to talk to each other. The atmosphere was heavy, and it was like a weight on everyone's shoulders. It was as if they were both holding their breaths, waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever did.   Ferrum sat at the table, his eyes staring blankly at his plate as he pushed around the food with his fork. The sound of clinking silverware and polite conversation filled the air around him, but he paid it no mind. His mother's voice suddenly broke through his thoughts,
"Ferrum dear, would you be so kind as to show Yuji around the palace? I'm sure he would love to see it, and it would be a good opportunity for the two of you to catch up."
Ferrum's heart skipped a beat as he heard Yuji's name. He couldn't bring himself to look at him, instead he focused on the way his fingers were gripping the edge of the table.
"I'm sorry mother, but I'm afraid I'm quite busy at the moment,"
Ferrum replied, his voice tight. He stood up abruptly, his chair scraping against the marble floor as he pushed it back.
"If you'll excuse me."
He didn't wait for a response as he quickly made his way out of the gazebo, leaving the others behind in a state of confusion.   Yuji watched him go, a pang of disappointment in his chest. He knew that something had happened between them, but he didn't know what. He didn't understand why Ferrum would ignore him like this, after all the years they had spent together as friends. He tried to push the thoughts out of his mind and focus on the food in front of him, but it was difficult. As he sat there in silence, he couldn't help but feel like a stranger in a foreign land. The palace that once felt like a second home to him now felt like a maze of cold stone and unfamiliar faces. He couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in his stomach, a feeling that only grew as he realized that Ferrum's indifference was not just an act. It was real, and it cut deep.   Yuji sat at the table, the atmosphere tense as he realized Ferrum's sudden departure. He fumbled with his utensils, his appetite gone as he struggled to find the right words. The other members of the two families exchanged confused glances, unsure of what had just transpired. Finally, Yuji pushed his chair back and stood up, his voice barely above a whisper as he addressed the group.
"I-I'm sorry, I need to go,"
he stuttered, his eyes darting around the table in search of Ferrum.   Without waiting for a response, he turned on his heel and sprinted out of the gazebo, leaving behind a trail of apologies and confused murmurs. The garden was large, but Yuji's determination propelled him forward as he searched for Ferrum. He knew he had to find him, to talk to him, to understand what had just happened. As he ran, the memories flooded back, of a time when they were children and the world was a simpler place. A time when their families weren't on the brink of fighting, and they were just two boys playing in the garden together. But now, everything had changed, and Yuji didn't know if they could ever go back.   Ferrum's feet pounded against the ground, each step sending a jolt of confusion and hurt through his body. His breaths came in short gasps, his chest heaving as he tried to outrun the memories and emotions that were chasing him. He didn't know where he was going, he just knew that he needed to get away.   Yuji's voice echoed in his head,
"Ferrum, wait! Please, let me explain!"
But Ferrum couldn't face him, not yet. He couldn't bear to look into the eyes of the person who had hurt him so deeply.   The palace gardens were a blur as Ferrum ran, the colorful flowers and lush greenery becoming a dizzying kaleidoscope of colors and shapes. The sound of Yuji's footsteps grew closer, his breaths becoming louder and more frantic. Ferrum's heart pounded in his chest, a wild bird trapped in a cage. Finally, Ferrum's legs gave out and he stumbled to a stop, his back pressed against a tree. He could feel the rough bark digging into his skin, but it was a welcome distraction from the pain in his heart. He squeezed his eyes shut, tears streaming down his face as he tried to hold back sobs.
"Ferrum,"
Yuji's voice was soft, but insistent.
"Please, look at me."
Ferrum shook his head, his body trembling as he tried to keep his emotions in check.
"I can't—"
he whispered.
"I can't look at you right now."
Yuji took a step closer, and Ferrum could feel his presence looming over him.
"I know I hurt you,"
Yuji said, his voice heavy with remorse.
"I know I messed up, but I swear, I never meant to hurt you."
Ferrum's body was racked with sobs, his heart aching with a pain that he didn't know how to process. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of emotions, and there was no escape.
"I don't know if I can forgive you,"
Ferrum choked out, his voice barely audible.
"I don't know if I can ever look at you the same way again."
Ferrum's tears flowed like a river, streaming down his face as he struggled to comprehend the words Yuji was saying to him. He felt a mix of emotions; confusion, hurt, and longing. He didn't know how to react to Yuji's apology and explanation of his absence.   Yuji, his eyes glistening with unshed tears, looked at Ferrum with a mixture of regret and longing.
"Ferrum, I'm sorry. I know I've been gone for a long time, but I was training to become stronger. My tutor didn't want me to have any outside contact."
Ferrum could see the pain in Yuji's eyes, and it mirrored his own.
"Remember that time when you defended me from those kids who were throwing rocks at us? I told you I'd get stronger for you, didn't I?"
Yuji's words struck a chord in Ferrum's heart. He remembered that day as if it was yesterday. He had always admired Yuji's strength and courage, and the fact that he had kept his promise to become stronger for him made Ferrum's heart swell with emotion.   As Yuji spoke, Ferrum could feel his body slowly relaxing. He felt a sense of calm wash over him as he stared into Yuji's eyes. Both of them were quite teary-eyed now, and the tension between them was palpable.   Yuji leaned in closer, his breath hot against Ferrum's cheek.
"I missed you, Ferrum,"
he whispered, before leaning in and pressing his lips against Ferrum's. It was soft and tender, releasing the tension between them.   Ferrum closed his eyes, letting himself be swept away by the moment. He wrapped his arms around Yuji, pulling him closer as the kiss deepened. He could feel the warmth of Yuji's body against his, and the familiar scent of his cologne filled his senses.   As their romantic expression towards eachother ended, Ferrum opened his eyes to see Yuji looking at him with a small tear on his cheek.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
Yuji said a sigh of relief came out of his mouth, as if he'd been wanting to do that for a long time now.

Chapter Five — The Glacial Priest

Ferrum had grown into a powerful and respected figure in the kingdom, his reputation preceding him as the young prodigy who had been blessed by the gods with exceptional magical abilities. However, despite his newfound fame and prestige, Ferrum had become somewhat of a recluse, shying away from the public eye and focusing solely on his studies and training. As he delved deeper into the intricacies of magic and honed his skills, Ferrum's demeanor had grown colder, his once bright and open personality now hidden behind a veil of stoicism. He had become a solitary figure, dedicating himself to mastering his craft and fulfilling the expectations placed upon him by the gods and his kingdom.   Despite this, Ferrum had maintained a good relationship with Yuji, the two of them having grown close over the years. While their bond may have been tested by distance and Ferrum's newfound responsibilities, they still remained close friends and confidants. As Ferrum sat in his library, surrounded by ancient tomes and forbidden grimoires, he couldn't help but think of the path that had led him here. He had sacrificed so much to become who he was today, and yet, there was still so much more to learn and accomplish.   With a heavy heart, Ferrum stood up from his desk and began to make his way out of the library, his mind set on the duty he had been tasked with: to protect his kingdom from the looming threat of the Empire and its powerful Emperor. As he stepped out into the bright light of the sun, Ferrum couldn't help but feel a sense of determination and purpose wash over him. He knew that the road ahead would be long and treacherous, but he was ready to face it head-on, for the sake of his kingdom and the people he had sworn to protect.

Chapter Six — Pressure

Ferrum felt the weight of the kingdom on his shoulders, like a heavy cloak that suffocated him. He had always been the one to rise above the criticism, to shrug off the expectations placed upon him, but now they were becoming too much to bear. He had become known as "The Glacial Priest," a nickname given to him by the people for his sharp wit and his ability to protect the kingdom with his powerful magic. But as the pressure mounted, he found himself cracking beneath the surface.   He couldn't confide in anyone, not even Yuji, the one person he had always been closest to. He felt like he was spiraling down into a dark abyss, and there was no one to pull him out. Every day was a struggle, every breath a battle. He felt like he was drowning, and no one could hear his silent screams for help. He tried to keep up the facade, to push through the pressure, but it was like trying to hold back a tide with a single hand. He was slowly being pulled under, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. The weight of the kingdom was crushing him, and he didn't know how much longer he could hold on. He felt like he was losing himself, and he didn't know if he would ever find his way back.   Ferrum's mind was filled with metaphors and similes, as if he was writing a novel instead of living his life. He was in a constant state of self-doubt, questioning his ability to protect the kingdom, and his worth as a person. He felt like he was losing his grip on reality, and he didn't know how much longer he could hold on. He was just a man, not a hero, and he was slowly realizing that he couldn't save the kingdom by himself. He needed help, but he didn't know who to turn to. The pressure was taking its toll on him, and Ferrum didn't know if he would be able to hold on much longer. He was on the brink of collapse, and he didn't know if he would be able to pull himself back from the edge. He was in a constant state of fear, and he didn't know if he would ever be able to find peace again.   Ferrum had always been the strong and stoic one, the one who never let anything get to him. But as the pressure mounted and the expectations piled higher, he began to feel like he was drowning. He had always been confident in his abilities as a wizard and as a protector of his kingdom, but now he found himself second-guessing every decision he made. The weight of the community's expectations was like a heavy boulder on his shoulders, and he felt like he was constantly being watched, judged. He couldn't escape the feeling that he was always on the brink of failure, that one misstep would be the end of him.   He tried to keep his emotions in check, to maintain his cold and distant facade, but inside he was crumbling. He didn't confide in anyone, didn't let anyone see the cracks that were starting to form. He was determined to pull through, to live up to the name he had made for himself as the Glacial Priest, the sworn protector of the kingdom. But as the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, Ferrum found himself struggling more and more. He knew that he couldn't keep up this facade forever, that someday he would break. He knew that he needed to find a way to cope with the pressure, to find a release for the emotions that were bubbling just beneath the surface.   He began to spend more time alone, walking the kingdom's borders and meditating on the vast expanse of the kingdom. He found solace in the quiet and the solitude, and he began to feel like he was gaining a better understanding of himself and his place in the world. As he looked out over the kingdom, he knew that he could never truly escape the expectations placed upon him. But he also knew that he couldn't let them consume him. He made a silent vow to himself to do his best, to protect his kingdom and its people, no matter the cost.   He took a deep breath, feeling the cool air fill his lungs and the chill of the glaciers that surrounded the kingdom's borders, and he knew that he would be alright. He would be The Glacial Priest, the sharp-tongued witted wizard, and he would find a way to cope with the pressure and the expectations, because it was his duty as the protector of his kingdom.

Chapter Seven — Cracked

Ferrum sat alone in his chambers, staring blankly at the wall in front of him. The weight of the expectations placed upon him by the community and the gods was crushing, and he could feel himself slowly cracking beneath the surface. He had always prided himself on his stoic and unfeeling exterior, but now, it felt like it was all just a facade. He didn't confide in anyone, not even his closest friend Yuji. He didn't want to burden anyone with his problems, and he didn't want to disappoint anyone by showing that he couldn't handle the pressure. He tried to push through it, to continue on with his duties as the Glacial Priest, the sworn protector of the kingdom. But the cracks were becoming too deep, and he knew that someday he would break.   He stopped eating, stopped sleeping, and stopped talking to anyone. He could sense the doubt creeping in from the community, and he could feel himself doubting himself as well. He was at a loss, and he didn't know how to fix it. One day, without thinking, he snapped. In a fit of anger and despair, he created an ice chamber that suffocated anyone who went in. He didn't want to disappoint anyone anymore, to him death was the only choice. But as the ice crept over his body, engulfing him in its icy embrace, he couldn't help but think of all the people he would be leaving behind.   As his breath grew shallow and his vision grew dim, Ferrum couldn't shake off the feeling of regret. He wished he had opened up to someone, anyone, before it was too late. He wished he had let himself feel, instead of bottling everything up inside. He wished he had asked for help. But it was too late now. Ferrum closed his eyes for the last time, and the ice chamber slowly dissolved around him, leaving behind nothing but a cold and empty void.

Sexuality

The subject of Ferrum's sexuality is difficult to describe and is a complex one. He is not an individual who spends too much time contemplating about romance or sexual relationships; instead, he seems to be more focused on his duties as a magician and his responsibilities to his kingdom. Having said that, Yuji, his closest companion and confidant, is the only person with whom he has been observed having human intimacy. Ferrum thinks that magic is a sacred force that should not be exploited for frivolous or self-indulgent purposes, which strongly influences his ideas on sexuality. Ferrum also has a rigid moral framework. This conviction permeates his ideas on sexuality and romantic relationships as well, considering that he is of the opinion that these kinds of relationships need to be engaged into with a sense of responsibility and significance rather than only for one's own satisfaction.   Despite this, Ferrum does have both sexual and romantic urges. Like everyone else, he is a complicated being with a wide spectrum of feelings and desires. But since he has high expectations for those with whom he chooses to share his vulnerability, he is quite picky about who he chooses to engage in romantic or sexual activity with. Additionally, he is conscious of the social and cultural expectations that come with being a well-known sorcerer, and he takes care to retain his sense of secrecy and privacy in his relationships. In conclusion, Ferrum's sexuality is a complex facet of his personality that is formed by his adherence to a rigorous moral code, his feeling of duty to his kingdom, and his conviction that magic is sacred. He is conscious of the social and cultural constraints that come with his reputation as a well-known wizard but is not particularly interested in romance although he is open to relationships with the right person.

Education

Ferrum's education began at a young age, as his parents recognized his innate talent for magic. They enrolled him in a prestigious academy for wizards, where he spent most of his childhood. Under the tutelage of some of the kingdom's most skilled sorcerers, Ferrum learned the basics of magic, including spellcasting, incantations, and potion-making.   As he grew older, Ferrum became increasingly interested in the more advanced and powerful forms of magic. He spent hours in the academy's library, studying ancient texts and forbidden grimoires. He was particularly fascinated by the elemental magic of ice and snow, and he devoted himself to mastering the arcane art of cryomancy.   Ferrum's dedication and natural talent earned him the respect and admiration of his teachers and classmates, but also the pressure from the community and the kingdom's Emperor. He was expected to be the best and to protect his kingdom from any harm. He was given the title of "The Glacial Priest" and was known as the sworn protector of the kingdom and the sharp-tongued witted wizard.   Despite the high expectations placed on him, Ferrum's education was not without its challenges. As he delved deeper into the complexities of magic, he struggled to reconcile his own ambition with the responsibilities placed upon him. He was often torn between his desire to push the boundaries of what was possible with magic and his duty to use his powers for the good of others.   As he grew older, Ferrum became increasingly isolated, and he began to withdraw from the world around him. He focused all his energy on his studies, neglecting his relationships and personal life. He was consumed by his desire to be the best, to live up to the expectations of the community and the Emperor, but as he was pressured more and more, he was slowly cracking beneath the surface.   Ferrum's education was a harsh and bittersweet one, full of pressure, loneliness and self-doubt. He was always aware that he was walking on thin ice, and that one day, he might crack.

Employment

Ferrum's employment was that of a wizard, a practitioner of magic. He was trained in the art of spellcasting and the manipulation of elemental forces, specifically ice and cold. He honed his skills under the tutelage of a master wizard, studying ancient texts and learning the intricacies of his craft. As he grew older and more proficient in his abilities, Ferrum began to take on apprentices of his own, passing on his knowledge and teachings to the next generation of wizards. He also accepted jobs and commissions from members of the community, using his magic to perform various tasks such as crop protection, construction, and even healing.   Despite his exceptional skills, Ferrum's employment was not without its challenges. As a wizard, he was often met with skepticism and discrimination from those who did not understand or feared his abilities. He also had to constantly maintain and improve his skills, as magic was a constantly changing and evolving field.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Ferrum was a highly skilled wizard, who had been trained in the art of battle magic and had honed his abilities over the years through various mercenary jobs. He was a master of ice magic, able to create and control the elements with ease and precision. He was also well-versed in defensive magic, able to create barriers and shields that protected himself and his allies from harm.   Over the years, Ferrum had taken on a variety of assignments, ranging from escorting important dignitaries to fighting in large-scale battles. He had amassed a reputation as a reliable and efficient wizard, known for his quick thinking and ability to adapt to any situation.   One of his greatest accomplishments was his role in the defense of a small kingdom, which had been under attack by a powerful enemy army. Ferrum had led a group of wizards in a desperate battle, using his ice magic to slow the enemy's advance and buying time for the kingdom's defenders to regroup. He had also used his defensive magic to protect the kingdom's civilians, allowing them to flee to safety. Thanks to Ferrum's efforts, the kingdom had been saved, and he had been hailed as a hero.   He had also been hired as a personal bodyguard for many noble and wealthy individuals, his reputation preceding him. He had protected them from various threats, from assassins to bandits. His reputation had allowed him to command higher prices for his services, but he had always been selective about the jobs he took, only taking on those that he believed were just and moral.   Ferrum's accomplishments had also earned him recognition from his peers, and he had been invited to join several prestigious magical organizations, but he had always declined, preferring to work alone. Despite his reclusive nature, Ferrum had a code of honor and always put the safety and well-being of others before his own.

Failures & Embarrassments

Ferrum had always had a strong sense of purpose when it came to his magic. He viewed it as a sacred tool, meant to be used for important and meaningful purposes. He had no interest in using it for showmanship or entertainment, like many of his peers.   This mindset led to a number of failures and embarrassments throughout his career as a wizard mercenary. On several occasions, he turned down offers to perform at lavish parties or events, much to the disappointment of his clients. He also refused to use his magic for frivolous tasks, such as impressing a potential lover or settling personal grudges. Despite these setbacks, Ferrum remained steadfast in his belief that magic should only be used for defense or offense in war. He had seen the devastating effects of magic being used recklessly, and he was determined to use his own powers responsibly. This led to a reputation as a serious and dedicated wizard, respected by many in the magical community.   However, his strict adherence to this principle also led to a number of missed opportunities, both personally and professionally. His refusal to use magic for personal gain meant that he had to rely on his own skills and resources, and it also meant that he couldn't take on certain jobs that would have been very profitable. Ferrum was content with his choices. He believed that the true worth of a wizard was measured by the impact they had on the world, not by the amount of gold they had in their pockets. He knew that his strict adherence to his principles may not make him the wealthiest wizard, but it would make him one of the most respected.

Mental Trauma

Ferrum, once a proud and confident wizard, found himself struggling to keep up with the expectations placed upon him by the community. As he continued to make a name for himself, the pressure mounted. He felt as though the weight of the kingdom was on his shoulders, and the constant pressure began to take a toll on his mental well-being.   He found himself struggling to sleep at night, plagued by anxiety and intrusive thoughts. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was constantly being watched and judged, and the thought of disappointing anyone, especially those who looked up to him, made him physically ill.   As the months passed, Ferrum's once sharp mind began to dull. He found it harder and harder to focus on his studies and his duties, and his performance began to suffer. He isolated himself, shutting out his friends and loved ones, convinced that they would only see his weaknesses and faults.   The once proud and confident wizard was now a shell of his former self, consumed by his mental trauma. He felt as though he was walking on a tightrope, one misstep away from falling into an abyss of failure and disappointment. He was trapped in a never-ending cycle of self-doubt and fear, unable to escape the constant pressure and expectations placed upon him.

His love of learning had led him to become an avid reader, devouring books on all subjects, from the history of his kingdom to the workings of the natural world. He had a photographic memory, able to recall even the most obscure details with ease. He was also a skilled researcher, able to dig deep into the depths of any topic and uncover the truth.   In addition to his intellectual pursuits, Ferrum was also a skilled strategist, able to think on his feet and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. He was a natural leader, able to inspire and guide others towards a common goal. He was also able to think critically and objectively, able to evaluate and analyze situations with a clear and unbiased perspective. However, Ferrum's intellect also had a downside. He was prone to overthinking and overanalyzing, which could lead to him becoming mentally exhausted. He also had a tendency to dismiss his emotions and focus solely on logical reasoning, which could lead to him becoming detached and distant from others.   Despite this, Ferrum's intellectual capabilities were undeniable and had earned him a reputation as a wise and respected member of his community. He had made many valuable contributions to his kingdom, and his knowledge and understanding of magic had made him a valuable asset in the defense of his land.

As they grew older, their relationship evolved and deepened. Ferrum came to rely on Yuji as a confidant and trusted advisor, while Yuji looked up to Ferrum as a leader. Despite their different social standings, they treated each other as equals and worked together to navigate the challenges and politics of the Edo period.   However, their relationship is not without its challenges.
