New Year Feast Duianna Holiday by LA

The first day of a new year is considered sacred and significant to all races of Niya-Yur. As the Duianna Imperial calendar was adopted at the beginning of the universe and is tied to the moons and rhythms of the world the first day of the new year is the same for all peoples. The holiday is generally a day of rest, making sacrifices of food to the gods, exchanging of gifts at the midnight hour. The real festivities generally don't start until the strike of midnight and will continue for as long as two full days.
