The Daemonium Circle
Any Umbra Member worth their salt can cast the Daemonium Circle. If they can't, they best go back to the Reformatory before they get themselves killed. The Daemonium Circle is a fundamental spell to those who harness Daemonium magic and while it's often considered a rookie one, it has saved more lives than one can count. In essence, the spell creates a circle— or bubble —of Blessed Darkness around the caster, which blightlings are incapable of passing through. More often than not, these shields grant healers enough time to heal front-line wounds, delay the attacking momentum, or even grant a few precious minutes to restrategize. When it's life or death, minutes—even seconds, count. While relatively simple, there are a few guidelines that are imperative to follow:
- Always channel through your silver sigil.
- Always draw the Starting Circle— the one at one's feet.
- Always keep your Intent clear and focused in the forefront of your mind.
Channeling
Channeling is an act of Unification. There lies a bond between the caster and their Source of magic— Divine or Daemonium —and channeling grants the caster access to said Source. For an Umbra Member channeling Daemonium, like with every spell (unless premade), there lies a channel time dependent upon the caster's level of experience and circumstance.Intent
Intent is a tricky mistress, but one that must not be overlooked. It is more than just the core of the spell one is casting, it is the purpose in which the spell was cast. For the Daemonium Circle in particular, one's Intent seems to matter greatly. Though no precise words or suggestions are required, "shielding" is often a strong enough trigger.

The detail in this is wonderful. I would love to know what happens when one of those rules are broken.
