Dryath's Cove is a secluded section of coast along Qiras that is primarily controlled by the Thunderdawn Cabal. The north of the cove is taken over by members of Sea's Callers who have founded a new town. The south of the cove is filled with dense vegetation and is primarily a barrier from the outside world, though some Witch Covens have been known to reside there.
 

Description

There are several sandy beaches that make up the complete area known as Dryath's Cove. Along these beaches are a mass of flora that grows over the cove's entrance, almost a barrier between the cove and the outside world. There are several clusters of rocks that exist in the middle of the cove, these are often filled with the buildings of Dharn Town or link to the home of the Sea Witch's Coven, the Ilkra Hut.   Cove is surrounded by cliff faces that have been eroded away over the many centuries. When out at sea, its nearly impossible to see the length of Dyrath's Cove as a cliff face shields it from view, only a few small entrances allow for ships that know what they're doing to enter further into the Cove. Sharp jagged rocks line the boundary of the cove and are known as Dyrath's Daggers.   The seas that exist within the cove are typically very calm, however outside of the cove, the waves are extremely choppy, especially to those who haven't experienced the cove before. Within the Cove, a Sea WItch is usually posted to calm the seas should a member of the Sea's Callers arrive to gain access.

Dharn Town

The main settlement of the cove, Dharn Town was founded to be a home for those of a free spirit along the waves. While there are still some rules in place, the area is more known for its relative freedom and its constant growth. The buildings of Dharn Town are built of reclaimed wood and metals, all linked with a collection of ropes and nails. Additionally, most of the buildings are linked together by a collection of rope bridges, all linking to a center rock in the middle of the Cove.

Ikra Hut

The Ikra Hut is the home of the Sea WItch's Coven, a collection of Witches who were the original settlers of the coves. When the Sea's Callers arrived, their leader went to the Ikra Hut and asked for permission to settle their ships and lives in the cove. The Hut is located in the southern region of the cove, the top hut is just a cover for a large cavern which acts as the true home of the coven.

I love the idea of a nice sheltered cove. It's great that they have a seawitch on hand to calm the waves.

I like the atmosphere of this sheltered cove evokes, it very much feels like a refuge with the hidden entrance and choppy sea outside. I wonder, is it a very dark feeling place to live since the cove is so surrounded by cliffs? And it's mentioned as a place for free spirits, are there many criminal elements or is it more of a place to breathe for those who find the rest of society to restrictive?
