The Emerald Jewel is the title given to the leader of the Grand Archive of the Obsidian Forge. The title was first created by the founding leader of the Obsidain Forge as a title that would grant accountability to the Obsidain Forge as a singular member could act as a figurehead.
There's an additional link between the Emerald Jewel and the Ossaman Tribes, the title is a reference to an emerald that is kept by the group as a reminder of their goal to help save the world and the people within it.
During 755 AR, the current holder of the title is Emerald Jewel Zythar Maldridge. They have held the title since 714 AR.
