Sealsmiths

The Sealsmiths are an elite arcane unit stationed within Wyversteel Tower. Even during a time of peace, the Sealsmiths are always active, being Vilura's only standing army during peacetime.

Purpose

The consistutional purpose and founding of the Sealsmiths was focused around the defeat of the creature known as Theras-tol. Once defeated, Theras-tol was sealed in a demiplane that requires constant upkeep to protect from this great titan.
There is constantly a presence at the seals that bind Theras-tol, but in the years since their formation, Sealsmiths have started to join the Highbearers as an active law enforcement group around Vilura.

Regiments

The Sealsmiths have three core regiments and one specialised regiment: the Glades, the Veil, the Storm, and the Shadow. Each regiment has an archmage who acts as their general.

The Glades

Led by Archmage Illyana Corelance. The Glades focus on the development of new and interesting arcane technologies. The main members of The Glades are artificers or specialise in enchantment magic.

The Veil

Led by Archmage Everis Ryedale. The Veil focus on weaving warding spells and defenses across the Viluran Republic. The main members of The Veil focus on illusion or abjuration magic.

The Storm

Led by Archmage Christopher Woolstone. The Storm focus on elemental magic especially with offensive properties. There is an intense focus on evocation magic however some others have been known to join with a focus on transmutation and conjuration.

The Shadow

Led by Archmage Poldra Arxivosa. The Shadow act as a more secretive collective, focusing on learning more information to record it and learn more about the world. The members of The Shadow are focused on divination and illusion magic, though several rogues with some small arcane influences have started to be inducted into the shadows.
