A wide spanning desert region rich in culture and resources, The Red Desert is named after its intense red sand, which is deep crimson in colour and is very dense. The red sand is known as “The Blood of Lokh Shava” and is used in trinkets, talismans and assorted items for worship. It is also common for Th’ahmin people, the people of The Red Desert to take this sand with them when they travel, as they believe they will not be far from home if they do.
