1st of First Dawn, 1205 CE
Summary On the 22nd of Last Harvest I arrived at Cresthill. The hamlet was razed, all gone.No sign of Megan Lightnose.

Findings

No survivors. All six hovels scorched and burned.Few dozen weapons, mostly improvised or otherwise of low quality. Many bloodstains.No bodies found.

Orcish raiders; maybe slavers?

Conspirators trying to tie up loose ends.

Addendum

While heading north from Cresthill, I came upon two familiar faces, detailed below. They survived an assassination attempt by a sun elf leading a wood elves and half elves company,that fled when I arrived. Fortunately, I managed to save the life of one, Emrys Telnarthor. However, Nix, Emrys' adopted sister, did not share such fate, and was killed. Her corpse was carried away by her animal companion, a fearsome bear, whom I left alone at the grieving heir's request.
