Blood Price

  • In some cultures, paying a Blood Price is required to atone certain crimes, usually murder. The price changes with the culture and crime, but is usually some sort of long lasting or permanent form bodily harm. In some cases, such as when a blood price isn't payed, members of the offended party might seek retribution, often resulting in murder. This can escalate farther in blood wars, where two rival parties remain locked in a vicious cycle of retribution and revenge.
