Ellisean

The Elliseans are elves, mostly drow who follow the teachings and tenets of the Dark Maiden. Although they come from many backgrounds and origins, most consider Tir Ar'ides as their cultural and ethnical centers, and almost all members of the Church of Ellisea are also Elliseans.

Naming Traditions

Family names

Most Elliseans who abandon their Losethian way decide to keep their original surname. This is mostly done not out of sentimentality, but as a way to ensure that if others of their kin find their way out of the grasp of Loseth, they would be able to trace and reunite with them.
