Ernfelian Jester's Act of 1342

The Ernfelian Jester's Act of 1342 is an agreement between Ernfelian nations (primarily Osternfel and Arvernfel) that ratifies the cultural consensus regarding Foolegations.

Purpose

According to the cultural consensus of foolegations, jesters are not to be harmed while carrying them out. Due to the fact that it was an unwritten rule, some outlying incidents have occurred. The passing of this act ensured that, save for the cases below, the jesters will be safe.

  • The jester has insulted the sovereign on their own accord
  • The jester has acted disrespectfully towards their hosts
  • The jester has acted against the values and tenets of the Andorian Church.
