Free Speach

Free Speach, or Frispich is a verbal only sub-dialect of the Common Languages spoken in the Free Cities. Frispich is a ever flowing and ever changing language, influenced by dozens of of other languages and dialects. Several attempts have been made in the past to try and bring the Free Speach into writing, but the constant flux of the language proved impossible to document or predict.
Some Free Folkmerchants traveling from and to the Free Cities have testified they have more and more trouble recognizing their own language every time they return.

Morphology

Frispich is unique to every Free City and sometimes even to some of the neighborhoods and districts within those cities. A small incident like a market stall feud may turn into a catch phrase, or a 'meme'. Those phrases may find their way to be spoken commonly between two associates in reference to a different thing, while a person who has no notion of the phrase's origin may be left completely out of context.
Due to their hectic and chaotic origins, those 'memes' rarely fully embed themselves into the ever changing dialect and usually pass into obsolesce in time ranging from mere months to several years.
