Maha'kan (Ma Ha K(h)an)
"The main issue with these damned pirates is that other than waiting for them to raid us we have no other way to engage them. Why? Well, have you heard of the phrase 'like finding an Agam'an in the ocean?'" - Captain Vitorio Aginoso of The Free NavyMaha'kans are pirates that operate on the Teralic Ocean and in the Agaman Bay.

History
The word "maha'kan" roughly translates to "imposter" or "false flag" in Avaree; maha'kans are mostly Agam'an, and sail similar ships, which understandably infuriates and harms the reputation of law abiding Agam'an. Over the years, the word became a catch-all term for pirates that raid the Agaman bay and retreat to the Teralic ocean.
Maha'kan crews are known to fight to their deaths if the need arises, as the alternative is to be hanged and die at land, which is taboo in Agam'an society. In many instances maha'kan burned their ships when they clearly lost a battle, and many others rammed their ships into navy vessels, inevitably dooming both crews.
