Spymaster

The Chief of Intelligence, often called a 'spymaster', 'Master of Intrigue', 'Master of Spies' or similar names, is the head of an independent nation or organization's office of intelligence. They are often in charge of identifying, assessing and resolving matters of intrigue in the service of Arch Duke and above, although particularly wealthy people and houses might also be able to afford operations of a scale requiring the employment of one.
  In the Vintian Imperium, the term Spymaster refers only to individuals who are employed by heads noble families, most commonly by the Famiglie Imperiali.
