The Platinum splits into a thousand shards, giving birth to the dragons. The newly created dragons are split in two sects, chromatic and metallic, with the first looking to enslave and rule over this world once again as a whole, and the later seeking to protect the lands and its denizens, preserving their free will.
The conflict leads to immense destruction as both sides clash with mortals caught in the middle as armies and levies. After 6 millennia of war the chromatic dragons dwindle in numbers and the remaining few are pushed away to the darkness with the exception of Ezorth who manage to remain in power over the North Estern Plateau.
