Physical Description
General Physical Condition
She's fairly strong by herself, having kept herself in peak physical condition with her swimming she partakes in on a regular basisc. Due to her natural abilities as a Nymph, she's able to swim quickly within the water; though she's not able to breathe underwater as the rest of her species can.
Identifying Characteristics
As is standard for those who believe in Starism, she has a large tattoo on her back. It's of a black star rising up out of the sea, with a man and a woman laying against the star on both sides.
Special abilities
Native to her race of Nymphs are two natural abilities, of which she uses on a regular basis for either her own survivability, or to convince people to help her out in one way or another.
Enhanced Swimming Ability - She's able to swim and float through the water, able to flow with the tides underwater. She's rather quick underwater too, going as fast as an olympic swimmer if need be. Unfortunately, due to her nature as half human, she's unable to breathe underwater as the rest of her kin are able to do.
Alluring Singing - Her voice when she's singing is as beautiful as the sea itself, appealing to the inner nature within a human. Using her singing, she's able to charm people as she wishes. While she had used this for rather explicit means during her days on Moonglow Isle, nowadays she simply uses this ability to convince people to help her out with various tasks.
Apparel & Accessories
She wears a white cloth top and leather jeans; the latter of which is held up with a belt lined with golden handles. On her side is a small bag for her to store stuff such as maps and cash in; held up by another leather wrap. Her boots are black in color, being simple slide-in, slide-out shoes that are surprisingly comfortable for one to wear. Lastly, on her head is a golden piece of headwear with a gem of refined Hydraline on it.

Personal history
Nyx Shepard was born to the infamous pirate leader, Richelle Rivers, on October 7th, 1918. She was born under mysterious pretenses, not knowing her father. Born after her was her brother and sister, Steven Shepard and Adrianna Shepard. Together, during their time being raised by Richelle and her crew on the ship, they would go around the world as Richelle travelled on her pirate ship, The Crimson King. During this time, Nyx would find a wonderful calling to the sea...
After a time, in 1939, Nyx and Steven Shepard would become separated from Richelle and Adrianna, becoming stranded on Moonglow Isle. While there, Nyx would meet with the Nymphs that lived on the shores of the island, and realize that she too is a Nymph; after an incident where her and a group of them were singing and attracted some males who were... rather charmed by her; to put it lightly. From that day to current times, it will remain a mystery as to why her mother never told her that she was one.
While there, she would meet with a strange man who called himself Mammon. The two would get along rather well, with him telling her stories about the place he came from, and her telling about the exploits of Richelle Rivers. He would be on the island for a month at a time; then go away for a while before coming back, the reasoning for this being that Moonglow Isle is a vacation spot for him.
She would live peacefully on Moonglow Isle, occasionally getting into various antics with the other Nymphs; swimming with them and honing her abilities as a Nymph; and having various relationships with the men and women on the island; ranging from purely platonic to inherently sexual. It would be in the 60s where she came to a horrifying realization: despite being in her 40s, she still looks as though she's in her mid 20s. Upon conversing with the other Nymphs on Moonglow; she would realize that due to her heritage as a Nymph; she will live far longer than an ordinary human.
Unwilling to see the death of her brother; especially after believing that her mother and sister are dead, she would bail from Moonglow Island. She took a boat in the middle of the night and, despite the heavy weather that made up the Bermuda Triangle, she would eventually get away; never to see her brother or Mammon ever again. She would sail the seas for a long period of time, returning to the mainland to gather supplies and eat; perhaps have some fun with various humans; attracting them in various ways.
During her time on the mainland, she would find herself being used as the scapegoat for an affair; one that left both parties involved dead and her greviously injured. She would have died had it not been for her meeting a strange red haired man; one whom brought her back to health. She wished to offer him anything she had, but he declined; telling her cryptically to 'find her own place in the world, outside what humans demand'.
On 1965, she would find an uninhabited island far off the eastern coast of the United States. Taking the red haired man's advice, she would establish what would eventually become the City Of Styx on the island. Using her charm; she would either entice or convince humans to come with her to create this city, a paradise for people such as her. Over time, the city would become a large floating city, one that could withstand all sorts of catastrophe as its inhabitants enjoyed themselves in various ways-- Of course, provided no one got hurt.
Actually getting the city to the state it's in now was a rather tricky thing for her, as even with her charms; she had a lot of work to do. It would be a slow process, convincing and enticing the right people with her Nymphic abilities; but even that would not last forever, as the people she had helping her would grow weary and eventually angry. Even she couldn't keep up with certain lies, which lead to some people whom were promised a place in the city to threaten her and leave. Alongside all these issues; there was the problem of keeping the city afloat no matter what. She had come close to giving up several times.
Then one day, during a deep dive into the sea; she discovered a strange growth of crystals that repelled all the surrounding water. Quite soon, after digging it up and unveiling to those around her the existence of what she would dub Hydraline, she began to offer up services of selling; then guiding people down to where to obtain the material. Eventually, she would be able to obtain enough money to not only fund the construction of the City Of Styx, but to gain even more followers and supporters that would help her craft and control the environment that it would permeate; as she desired.
Nowadays, Nyx simply runs the city as a mayor, occasionally going out to partake in the sexual festivities that go on in the day. She made a rather interesting name for herself, using the funds she obtains from the shops that are set up in her city to pay for either various commodities the city would have, or for convincing others to help expand it further. After The Withering occurred, she would divert her attention to protecting the city, eventually paying off various local sea-fairing pirates to act as her city's watchmen. She looks as beautiful as she did in the 60s, watching over the adult citizenship in her city; and she intends to do so until the day she finally dies...

Education
She's fairly well educated, having spent a lot of time reading in between her exploits with other people. When she created the City of Styx, she had opted to learn law and politics for managing the city; albeit in her own unconditional way due to the nature of the city. The most important thing for Nyx that she's learned, however, is how to sail and take care of a ship; thanks to what she learned from Richelle.
Employment
Alongside acting as the mayor for the City Of Styx, she has done work for DVNO with a few select TV Channels that they offer, including allowing them to film on her city or shoot pornography in it. Before all this, however, she's worked as a sailor for a large portion of her life, taking on various trades and the like.
Mental Trauma
She has an adversion to getting too close to people due to her fear of them outlasting her; stemming from both her realization of outlasting her human brother and from her mother and sister disappearing from her life. Although she's more willing to stay with a fellow Nymph for the rest of her life, it's still hard for her to entirely connect with people.
Taboos
Despite her acceptance of a sexual lifestyle, she has some lines that she will refuse to cross. She will not accept people acting out in violent, nonconsentual urges; and she refuses to let children be brought into the City Of Styx while she's around. If people within the City of Styx do either, she will take care of the issue herself. The people who've done such wrongs are often found on the shores in America, having drowned.

In her youth, she enjoyed sailing the seven seas with her mother, Richelle Rivers. However, when she vanished from her life, she would opt to travel alone. She would take delight in being a drifter, going from country to country, enjoying her life the best she could; despite the troubles she would come across.
Nowadays, Along with enjoying having sex with people and partaking in various sexual activities with both Humans and Nymphs, she is a big fan of movies. These movies range from widely-enjoyed classic horror movies such as Alien and Blair Witch Project; and she's a huge fan of terrible movies that wrap around into being so bad they're hilarious. These include Ed Wood classics, David Cage movies, and Troll 2. In her spare time, she will read a book; usually something that expands her horizons and view of the world.

She tries to act kind to people around her, upholding good will whenever and wherever she can. She's the kind of person who tends to take the lead of situations, and act quickly whenever the time commands it. Although some may say her judge of character is a bit off; she does try to pay attention to whether or not someone can be considered a good person or not. Of course, if someone does something she finds immoral or horrible; then all goodwill she has for that person will fly out of the window.

She has a thing for poprocks, often keeping a stockpile of them on hand in her house. Whenever she is going out and about in the City Of Styx, she makes sure to keep several packets of the candy in her bag.

She often has a habit of picking at her fingers when she's nervous, digging under her nails quietly and quickly whenever she needs to divert her attention away from a stressful situation.

Family Ties
As far as she knows, her grandmother and her sister is dead. She's never spoken to her brother or any potential offspring he's had, opting to stay away and keep herself out of their life; for her own sake.
Religious Views
She believes in Starism, specifically the Stars Together sect of it. As such, alongside upholding the known tenets of the religion; including the acceptance of the modification of the physical form and respecting nature; she tends to do whatever she can to support people in the City Of Styx who are transgender or nonbinary .
Hobbies & Pets
She owns a pet Capybara that she has affectionately named Lugosi, after the actor Bela Lugosi. She tends to him at her home, giving him a wide; grassy area around 20 by 20 feet wide; and a nice shallow pool for him to swim in if he wishes. She had been given the Capybara as a gift when it was a baby, and although she was hesitant at first due to her fear of forming long-term connections with something; she eventually relented and found herself enjoying the company of her pet.

Unless i've missed a part, its mentionned she managed to develop the city through charms and persuasion. It seems quite the effort and investment to build something that big. Did it caused some investors or helpers to feel 'cheated' by promises of specific natures and overall allure , since she could probably not satisfying everyone's expectation that such a goal aims on. Does she have people having resent over her, or does the nymph powers is enough to alleviate any bad aftermath overall ? Mostly a tought like that. the rest of the article is quite detailed, and good addition to add some art with it ! Happy Summercamp !
