Omni began working in the family business en utero. His mother, Ingee Wintertree, a Montgomery's store clerk, and his father, Nikola Omni Barnes, the 9th, eldest son of the previous CEO of marketing and acquisitions (Nikola Omni Barnes, the 8th), worked long hours together in Montgomery's Flagship store's kitchen goods and appliances section one summer (level 4, this was before it was moved to level 6 the next season, due to events that may or may not have happened on level 4). Their passionate and committed work lead to a postponement of their breaking up and returning to their respective universities. Followed by an unenthusiastic and lackluster welcome of a 7 pound 3 oz bundle which they quickly left with Nicky's parents. Whom quickly handed over to the nannies and other servants until Omni was five and old enough to join grandfather Niko in the office at Montgomery's. He worked his way from mailroom to stock room to taking over daily operations from his grandfather. He knows Montgomery's backwards and forwards and everyway in between. It's not only his employment. it's his life.
