The Hunters Moon follows the Harvest moon.

In the lands of Owtdare this moon gives extra light to the hunters of the world as they take their last easy prey before the start of winter.

The Hunters Moon festival in many communities is all about scaring the natural predators like bears, wolves and worse away. Houses and villages are decorated with extra lanterns and lights, but the streets are usually empty as the festivities traditionally move indoors to escape the colder evenings.
