Weeping Hill
...this hill mourns the death of an ancient king...
This barren hill looks more regular in shape than all the others around it, as if it was man-made a very long time ago.
Locals refer to it as "The Weeping Hill" due to the peculiar belief that the hill itself mourns the death of an ancient king buried within.
They say that when the winds blow through the Hard Lands, the hill emits a soft, haunting sound, akin to a mournful wail, as if the land itself grieves for the long-lost ruler.
The more superstitious believe that misfortune befalls those who attempt to desecrate the hill.
