There are so few of us and our harsh shelter is surrounded by those who would rip our hearts out were they given the chance. Now is not the time to shed the blood of our kin. Only as a united force can we achieve whichever path we decide to follow.— Fahliq Gahal, Speaker of the Ahlaydabil Preservation Committee
Preservationism is an ideological belief that either falls under the
radical school of thought, or its own unique path for a new
Remnant future. The primary principle of it is that since the Remnant are so few in number and at a severe disadvantage against the native peoples of
Pekkola, their different faction should all unite as equals under the
Ahlaydabil Preservation Committee to bring peace to the
Sunless Paths and
Bratayya.
Once order has been restored and the needless slaughter seizes, their people could then focus on recovering their numbers and democratically choosing the path forward through a series of fair referendums. Adherents of this path expect a degree of chaos following the referendums, but they believe that the rightfully chosen path shall be viewed as most legitimate, and therefore it would be easier for that ideology to emerge as the victor in this civil war.
