Mover

A Mover is a Mask whose primary abilities revolve around the manipulation of movement. They excel in swift traversal, be it through enhanced speed, flight, or teleportation. These individuals are highly adept at controlling their own mobility and positioning, granting them a distinct advantage in navigating terrain and evading adversaries.

Notable Examples:

Sub-Classifications (Internal Use):

  • Aerial: Movers who exhibit exceptional aerial maneuverability or the ability to glide.
  • Blinker: Movers with short-range teleportation abilities for rapid evasion or ambush.
  • Jumper: Movers who excel at leaping great distances or heights.
  • Phaser: Phasers possess the ability to move through physical obstacles with ease.
  • Speedster: Movers who possess extraordinary running or flying speed.
  • Subterranean: Movers specialized in underground or subterranean movement.

Encounter Protocol:

When encountering Movers, swift assessment and an immediate response are crucial. Spellcasters who require only line of sight are often the best choice for handling them. When spellcasters are unavailable, Shakers and Strangers can also prove to be highly effective at harrasing them when necessary. Additionally, deploying Blasters with long-range capabilities or Thinkers skilled in predicting movement patterns can provide a strategic advantage.

Countermeasures

  • Anti-Mover Equipment: Employing specialized technology or equipment designed to counter Movers, such as magic fields that inhibit teleportation or flight.
  • Coordinated Attacks: Implementing synchronized attacks from multiple angles can overwhelm a Mover, forcing them to divide their attention and resources.
  • Environmental Disruption: Manipulating the terrain or introducing environmental factors, such as smoke or debris, can disrupt a Mover's ability to navigate effectively.
  • Traps and Obstacles: Setting up barriers, obstacles, or traps can impede the movement of a Mover, limiting their options and creating opportunities for engagement.

Power And Danger Scale (1-10):

Speed and Mobility:
  • Level 1-3: Limited speed enhancement, slightly above human capability.
  • Level 4-6: Notable speed increase, capable of outpacing most adversaries.
  • Level 7-8: Exceptional speed, capable of rapid traversal of large distances or areas.
  • Level 9-10: Superhuman speed, allowing near-instantaneous movement between locations.
Maneuverability and Versatility:
  • Level 1-3: Limited ability for unconventional movement (e.g., basic parkour, minor wall-running).
  • Level 4-6: Moderate maneuverability, capable of navigating complex environments (e.g., scaling buildings, bypassing obstacles).
  • Level 7-8: High versatility, capable of complex aerial maneuvers and traversal through challenging terrain.
  • Level 9-10: Unparalleled maneuverability, capable of seamlessly navigating through any environment, including structures and barriers.
