Sentinels

With the passing of the Armistice of 5028  , those within Periton that had not joined the Guild, either due to personal reasons or being considered too young, were offered the chance to join what would become the Sentinels as an auxiliary force to the Guild. Many of the members who joined in this period, such as Armsmaster and Blackout, would go on to become integral members in the future. Individuals that were at the time Vigilantes were welcomed with open arms, while those that had previously worked with gangs or as Villians were accepted with more hesitancy.   Following The Tumult  and the Guilds withdrawal from Periton, the Sentinels would take on a role as the cities primary protectors, merging with the city guards in order to form one singular entity. The CC as well as other corporations would sponsor the Sentinels, either through payments or through the most modern equipment with which to protect its members.   While having been intended to work as a city wide organization, logistical reasons quickly showed that it was better to divide the Sentinels to where they would be best suited amongst Peritons many districts. This also means that districts the city doesn't favor as highly often have a lack of Sentinel presence, this can be seen with Viewpoint being shown prominently in Narrow Spring, yet districts such as Losset Squalors barely having their own Sentinel headquarters.

Regulars

While the Sentinels is more commonly known for their Heroes, the regulars are the large bulk of the Sentinels manpower. Outfitted in simple but well high quality armor and weaponry, the regulars are made up of the cities former police force, yet also consists of many volunteers that don't wish the attention being a Hero would bring them. The majority of the Regulars equipment specialize in non-lethal takedowns.   After the merging of the police and original Sentinels, the uniforms regulars wear is often drab and grey, letting them fade into the background to let the Sentinels Hero's grab attention.

Heroes

In the wake of Hero's Call's attack, Periton needed a sign of hope and stability as the gangs tore into the city. What had originally been thrown together costumes or the results of an individual's workshops quickly became staples of prominent members of the Sentinels. These costumes and masks were leaned into by the Sentinels public relations department, creating merchandize to sell and pushing the media to present them in a positive light.   While many individuals who wish to avoid these hoops decide to work as vigilantes instead, the Heroes of the Sentinels are often well equipped to handle the various gangs plaguing the city.   While there have been cases of Heroes that have no unique specialty, the majority of those that manage to become one tend to have something that makes them stand out. From the ability to wield magic, a peerless mastery of a particular skill or a the abilities of a changed.

Luminaries

While willing to take on any individual willing to risk their lives to improve their city, the Sentinels are hesitant to place individuals not yet of age into danger. The Luminaries are those who joined the Sentinels with the intention of becoming Heroes in the future. These Luminaries are trained to join the Sentinels once they come of age.
