Io

(a.k.a. Prime Dragon God, The Auldragon)

Io was the progenitor for all dragonkind. Some legends credit Io with the creation of all things.

Appearance

Io is unfathomably large; it is said the largest dragon who ever lived is smaller than a single one of his scales, which are blue, gold, brass, or red, and edged with silver and dark purple. He can, and does, appear as any age or breed of dragon, however.

Death

The death of Io unleashed incredible magical energy across the multiverse. From this energy (and some say Io's body) Bahamut and Tiamat became gods. Further myths link Sardior and Iosphael to the death of the Prime Dragon God.
