History

The Rising Fall was founded after the First War of Aestonia. Maransa was left in ruins by the Rising Lands and the armies of Risencrest. People of Maransa considered it the Great Fall. This led to the gathering of what power was left in the nation, a group of about 7 powerful beings, consisting of wizards, warriors, and clerics. The group was originally founded on the principles of Bahamut. Over time, the dragons became fewer and fewer in Maransa. The ways of the metallic dragons were lost to history. As the Rising Fall continued to grow, they shifted to the teachings of Tiamat, the evil goddess of the chromatic dragons. They began to value conquest, greed, and cruelty.
Prior to the Starfire Calamity, the Rising Fall was crushed again by the forces of the Rising Lands under King Tristan Blackstone. He and his ancestors hunted down every last lieutenant and general. One was left for dead but rose up and refounded the Rising Fall years later.
