During the Year
During the Year
Actions
There are many things you can do to manage your realm. You can make as many actions per year as you'd like. You may even choose to take no action; however, you would still need to do the necessary End of Year tasks and update your Realm's Population and Resources. Often Actions costs the Realm Resources, so make sure to update your Realm Sheet and log your actions in the World Log Sheet.Population Migration
You may 'move' Pops from one Settlement to another and as much as you'd like. Use the Population Column of the Settlements Table of your Realm sheet to migrate your Pops between Settlements by changing their Population count. When you do this, update the Settlement's Resource production based on the number of Pops the Settlement has. Also, make sure to use the Realm's Population to double-check your population is distributed accurately across the realm. Settlements also have a Population limit of 10 Pops per Settlement. So make sure to create settlements; otherwise, your realm will become overcrowded.Explore
Just costing your Realm 5 Gold, you can allocate a Pop to be an Explorer and roll for the chance of discovering a County. Roll a d6; on a result of 4+, you have found either a new County. If your d6 result is below 4, you do not discover anything. On a 1, you lose the Pop. If you have discovered a new County, you are to go through the same process as in Step 1: Building the World. As in, name it and roll for the Biomes of the 6 Regions in your new County. The new County cannot be settled on in the same year of its discovery.Found a Settlement
Creating a Settlement is not only how your realm expands but how your realm provides for its people. Each Region has a limit of Settlements you can build there, as shown in the Region Size Table in Step 1. Under the Settlements column is the maximum number of Settlements the Region can hold. Firstly, choose which type of Settlement you would like to create based on the Settlements Table to make a Settlement. Then add this Settlement to the list on your Realm Sheet. Name it. Then move a Pop from anywhere in your realm to that Settlement, as this Pop is the Settler.Settlements Table

Settlements Table Columns
The Settlements Table shows the types of Settlements you can build. The Columns:
Type – The type of Settlement.
Buildable On – You can only build settlements on specific biomes. This column lists those biomes for each type. For example, a Lumber Camp is only buildable in a Forest region, whereas you can build a Hunting Camp in either a Forest or a Wetlands region.
Cost – The cost is the number of resources you need to begin the construction. You must make sure your realm can afford the cost of building a Settlement by comparing the Realm's Resources at the top of your Realm Sheet with the Cost Column of the Settlements Table.
Produces - This is what resources the Settlement produces.
Consumes - This is what the Settlement needs to function.
