Ytzklapon destroys Zilopnou Capital of Lliaq

Their armies were preoccupied, defending their borders on the north-- and attacks from their neighbors within. They didn't stand a chance against Ytzkla.

Preoccupied with ongoing conflicts with the Ponouli on their northern borders, as well as quelling dissenting forces from the Aeuto city-state (the aristocracy felt as if the Lliaq Tichnaltin had unfairly taken control of the region's silver mines) left the military forces of Lliaq scattered, and weakened as the Ytzklapontin entered their territory. The forces left to protect the capital were simply too few to repel the attack, and were wiped out by Ytzklapontin forces before they could land a single blow against the pale lizard. The god ate well that day.
