Sumna Lira
Introduction
Once believed a type of Wyldmind, Sumna Lira (Empty Song in Elvish) is a fungal infection that eats away at the voicebox of the infected and paralyzes the muscles throughout the entire body. The end result of the disease is a still-living husk that cries out in cruel caricature of speech. These husks are known as Narti's Mockingbirds.
It is believed that the purpose of this singing is to attract new creatures to infect. Commonly, the infected creatures are scavenger animals that were searching for a meal and drawn to the sound of the suffering infected.
