Wyld Meat

Introduction

Passed down since the ancient Eld, the Elvenkyne have partaken in ritualistic cannibalism in a variety of ways. This tradition has been frowned upon by the other races since their first arrival from The Wyld. Normally, the flesh is eaten raw but with the risk of Unfallen spirits rising from the mutilated corpses some changes had to be made. Wyld Meat is the decided compromise.

Preperation

1.

First stages or preparation is the act of hunting your prey. Consuming the flesh of another's hunt is considered to be a disgrace to your ancestors. Once the meat is caught, you are to kill them with as much mercy as you can afford.

Once the meat is put to rest, it is to be diced into long strips for preparation. This has to be done quickly and with great care to not unsettle the spirit of the meat. When you extract enough meat to feed yourself, you must quickly return the body to the earth through flame.

The strips of meat are then to be wrapped in Wyldwood leaves and either smoked over a fire or charred through coals. No other method is currently accepted nor are seasonings allowed.

Consume the flesh while giving thanks to your ancestors for raising you stronger than the meat. Any meat left over must be returned to the body.

If you create an Elvish character that partakes in Wyld Meat, they have an advantage on cooking it and can do so in replace of a daily ration.
