Field Test 1
Field Notes:
The first field test was a resounding success. Range does not seem to be nearly as much of a limiting factor as I had first thought it would be. While it does limit the ability to able to call up targets I can still use it for the purpose of pinging my location/direction from a nondescript distance. At this point, it seems to be of a pretty decent range. The latency for this extremely low in the milliseconds, I will need to determine how further distances may affect this.
This location data could also be exceptionally useful for tracking targets in the future without their knowledge or consent. The technological equivalent of tracking beacons, alarms and geofencing for important objects. I will certainly need to do further research into that specifically.
On the next field test, I feel some method of storing volumes of historical data would be Paramount as the capacity is a very limiting factor when trying to keep track of targets while also trying to maintain some level of subtlety in the design and avoiding the issues of unwieldiness for creatures of a smaller stature.
Further research into a method of not only marking and tracking individuals but mapping features and denoting targets with a simple naming structure is needed.
Long term goal:
A method of calling up historical psychic data imprinted into the helmet and using it to determine if a target was tracked before. Some data could include facial features, clothing, posture, walk, handedness, etc.
