Block D

Block D is a block in the traditional Taruan style. It contains several outdoor squares lined by outdoor, roofed corridors. Wushu is taught in one of the many outdoor square gardens, while Casting Club is inside a carefully designed classroom after one student miscast lead to another... Calligraphy is taught in Block D as well after Master Shui Ling insisted.

"Why is it so cold in here?" Tisha asked.
"It's traditional, so there's no heating." Grub said with a pointed stare at the Taruan teacher. "Freezing is a tradition."

Close to Block D is a small shrine and a separate monastery engulfed in a green bamboo forest. A few practising monks who are also teachers at Taru International Academy prefer to reside in huts by the monastery.
