First Aid
First Aid is a compulsory class in Taru International Academy for years 1 - 2, with Advanced First Aid being optional for students in year 3. Students receive one lesson per week, and the grade depends on effort spent during the class. There is no homework for First Aid in year 1.
First Aid is one of the non-magical dependent classes, and was first introduced to the curriculum when Taru government policy made it a compulsory subject for study for all schools.
Dr Blane teaches first years First Aid. He is known as a reasonable teacher, who doesn't require students to hand in homework but expects students to pay attention during class.
Students proficient in First Aid will be able help others during events, including major and minor plots. There is no grade needed to apply for Advanced First Aid class. After taking the advanced class, students may go on to focus their studies towards medicine and healthcare subjects.
