The world of Sedivore is much different than Earth. It is approximately 1.3 times the circumference (with a circumference of roughly 37,271 miles).   It has less metal than earth, allowing the density to be very similar; therefore any difference in gravity would be negligible.     Sedivore is the 5th planet from it's White Dwarf sun, Chantu, which it orbits once every 386 days.   The moon, Tetu'koi, orbits Sedivore once every 48 days. A month on Sedivore is 8 weeks with 6 days   Sedivore also has a ring; however, unlike most rings, this one orbits the planet in a manner so that it appears to rise and set throughout the year. The names of the months are based on the position and hue of the ring.   The Ring appears as a band of energetic dancing lights in the sky (much like an aurora borealis), and it is observable even during the day. It seems to slowly rise and set across the sky twice a year.   A year on Sedivore is 386 days. Each Year has 8 Months, Every 25 years is a Burst.   During the Old Era (OE), Guilds were not yet formed into the governing bodies of the scattered nations. Without a governing system to regulate the use of magic, many magic users were not skilled enough to safely harness the power of mana, and thus invoked Entropy much more often. Entropic Pollution spread across Sedivore, corrupting life and manifesting it's dark and evil presence with twist creations of dark magic. Demonic entities were common place, until the formation of the first Guild. This Guild began as a group of magic users who took it upon themselves to hunt down and kill other magic users who chose not to abide by a strict set of rules that they established. The group spread out, converting or killing other mages that they came across. These mages banded together and took over entire settlements and regions, Effectively ruling by a Magocracy. the people either submitted to their rule, or perished. Many chose to fight back, to push the mages out of their homeland, but this was in vein.   Decades passed, most of Sedivore was ruled by the Coalition of Mages. The Banali, people who were unable to use magic, had since adjusted to their new ruling class. However, many of the people wanted a piece of this power that the mages had, but without and magical skills of their own, they had to resort to the more natural talents of labor. Many professional laborers gathered together, and began to form their own Guilds. These Guilds, at this time, did not have any political power, however they monopolized their skill set. No longer were people trained or hired freely in skill positions. One must seek out and pay to join these elite groups in order to find meaningful employment.   Other professions caught on to this idea, and soon jobs, that were required to achieve an efficiently ran society, began to form their own Guilds. Through trial and error, these Guilds formed and broke apart often. Guilds would separate into Guilds with less domains, and other guilds would merge. This age of reformation even affected the ruling Mages. Their long established order branched out as the religious sect among them decided to delve more into their own beliefs. This change was greatly beneficial, as it allowed for four institutions of Magic, one for each Prime Deity, and the original Coalition itself. The religious orders formed their Temples, and were allowed to train magic users in the ways of magic that pertained to their Deity's sphere, or domains, of influence.
